Read moreI implore anyone interested in Eastern European foods to visit this place. I visited an hour before closing on a Monday evening and my group was the only one in the store. The store has wide variety of Eastern European foods. They have baked goods, frozen dumplings, juices, pickled vegetables, fresh produce, etc. While we walked around, the owner offered to answer any questions. As we approached the deli counter she also offered to let us try anything. We took her up on the offer and tried the mushroom pate and the eggplant spread. The mushroom pate tasted almost like Boursin cheese but was just mushrooms and mayonnaise. The eggplant spread was interesting as well and the owner described it a coarser baba ganoush. It was really interesting because of the slight acidic end notes. I ended up buying a bit of those, some cheese and some beef piroshkis, and some walnut and pistachio baklava. Everything I got tasted good. Overall, the selection is pretty extensive and the food is good. The helpful and friendly service is what puts this place over the top. I expect to be back to try...

Called my card company; they didn't even show an attempt from that store though the owner/ cashier tried 3 times. Likely...
