Castle Playground — Attraction in Kirkland

Neighborhood playground so parking is a bit away. The trail is packed/concrete/boardwalk so ADA accessible and wide enough for bikes/scooters. It's a nice shaded walk, though, just about 5-8 min from parking. No restrooms so plan accordingly. Water refill stations. Completely fenced except one entrance ramp. Playground is mulched so may be difficult to navigate for those with differing abilities. Lots of benches in and out of shade. Lovely park. There is a variety of different activities on the playset and even an area fenced off for younger kids and toddlers. There's lots of open field space but also areas with shade. Next to it there's a little woodland with a trail and boardwalk. The trail is quiet and shady, and is suitable for scootering and biking. My only complaints is the lack of parking. We ended up having to park a few minutes away, and it should not have been a big problem, except it did...

Thank you for being a park part of my childhood with me my older brother and younger befriending random kids, my brother getting a football stuck in a tree, picnics with my brothers. This park has created so many memory’s for me...
