I'm telling this story in hopes that someone else will protect themselves against this store of vultures. I returned a tv back in October because I compared their price vs buying the same tv outright at walmart (which I know I should have done in the first place but I didn't do my homework before coming here) the price difference was about 900 dollars. So I looked at my contract, which I kept and if you are renting with them KEEP YOUR PAPERWORK, the contract basically said I could return it to them with no repercussion so I did. They came to get it. Gave me a piece of paper with the date saying I returned it which I held on to. Weeks go by and I'm getting calls which I suspected were marketing so I ignored them. I was working when they came through and after seeing their prices I wasn't buying anything they were selling. Eventually I checked my voicemail and someone told me "the merchandise you have is now considered stolen" I was shocked and a little angry that I had done everything with this company the way I should have and been completely honest and when I was in possession of their tv I always paid early and in full and now they were outright calling me a theif. I called the store and I explained to the man on the phone that I no longer had their tv. He asked for the date I returned it so luckily I had kept that paperwork and could tell him because apparently they had no record of coming to get it or their paperwork that I signed saying they had it. After I found the paperwork the guy goes to the back and said that he found the tv and that I was "all good" not "sorry for accusing you of theft" or anything of the sort. Doing business with this company is at your own risk. If you absolutely have to use this company KEEP...
Read moreI ordered a couch a week ago, called and confirmed the delivery the day of, only to be contacted an hour before they close saying they first were having issues with the driver and needed me to come pick up the couch. I told them I don't drive a car that is capable of hauling large pieces of furniture. He told me his manager would call back then he called back and said they were refusing to deliver the furniture to me because of "experiences they've had with other residents in my complex". I asked to speak to the manager and he told me verbatim, "we've had a long day and we're tired so he won't talk to you today."
No business should discriminate customers based on things out of their control like a stores personal experiences with other customers. Discrimination is not a good reflection any business should want to have. In no professional field should management be allowed to cancel a delivery and refuse to talk to a customer, during business hours and while they're getting paid, on the basis they "are too tired".
If you are looking to purchase furniture , I would advise you to do business elsewhere given this location is equipped with employees who discriminate against customers and are simply "too tired" to talk to customers. Don't be like me and wait a week for them to do what they're supposed to do and...
Read moreI will never be purchasing anything from any Aaron's ever again. We bought a couch and chair set a couple years ago, had it paid off by the next year but all in all we spent over $2000 on this couch and chair. 3 months after paying it off, something breaks and one side of the couch now has to have a pillow under the cushion to keep it at the same level as all the other cushions. Fast forward to today and that side of the couch is completely broken now. We flip it over to see if it's fixable with some nails, the plywood in the front is completely shattered because there are over 20 staples in a inch area. 20! So we look around some more and find that this whole couch is being held together by nothing but STAPLES! and it's not just a couple in one spot, there are so many areas where it was like someone had gotten trigger happy with the staple gun. This is completely not worth the $2000 that we spent and if I ever hear anyone trying to suggest going to Aaron's to buy anything, I'll be letting them know it is overpriced and not worth the time and effort. Period! With the amount of money we paid, we could have bought the stuff to make it and it would last forever. Not two years. Its shameful that they think it's okay to be charging the amount of money...
