FYE — Local services in Knoxville

How was it? HOW WAS IT?!?! It seems to get worse each time I walk in that place. Things are so disorganized while the store continues to pride itself on those legendary high prices. They literally sell t.v. box sets for TWICE the price of other competitors who carry the same item and I'm speaking in terms of OTHER PHYSICAL RETAILERS!! Now don't even get me started with Amazon on other on-line options. Someone needs to tell this company that there's a competitive market out there for EVERYTHING they're selling. Additional example is the marvel legends action figures they're selling for close to 30 dollars and about 6 to 8 dollars above other retail outlets. How the hell do you keep the doors open? There HAS TO BE a gimmick to this that I missed out on in...

I simply wanted to buy just a couple of small things, but the cashier kept pushing their membership card down my throat during checkout. I politely declined it, but he kept asking me for an email. He paused checking me out to point out all the stores the card benefits, but again its not what I wanted. I told him that the last time I got signed up for it, I had no idea the membership would cost me, so I canceled it after the first time it did. I told him I was not interested, yet he wouldn't get to the next part of getting to the transaction after he scanned the items I wanted to buy, so I told him to keep his merchandise and walked out of the store. And here I thought it was just Gamestop was bad, adding FYE...

So there's this sign posted. Grabbed 2 steel books bc well thats a heck of a deal. Get to the register and the cashier is rude when we ask why they didn't ring up with the discount. She states that the deal was only for steelbooks on that rack. Asked her why the sign didn't specify. She rudely stated it didn't need to. I said thats fine it was just confusing from the sign. She rolled her eyes and stated it should have been obvious.
