We decided to try out Latte Factory and ordered three drinks
Hot Chocolate: It was okay but not something I’d order again. Aside from regular milk, they only offer oat milk. No almond milk.
White Chocolate Mixed Drink: Decent enough and could be a favorite for someone with a sweet tooth.
Green Mango Energy Drink: This was a standout! My boyfriend loved it and said he’d definitely get it again. It had a nice tangy sweet aftertaste, and the caffeine worked great for his drive home.
However, the overall experience fell short. There was only one cashier and one person making drinks, which caused delays with 8 people in line. While waiting, two older women ahead of us were skipped entirely, and the barista had no record of their order, they had to repeat their drinks after they had already ordered and paid.
When we got our drinks, there were no names or labels, so my boyfriend and I accidentally drank each other’s drinks at first (our drinks were in opaque cups). It was only after tasting and checking that we realized the mix up.
One thing that I loved were the herbal TEA options!
The drinks have potential, but whoever owns this place needs to hire more staff and have a clear labeling system. Without changes, the holiday season will be...
Read moreThe Latte Factory has potential, but my experience as both a customer and former employee was nothing short of disappointing. While some drinks are passable, the quality is inconsistent—for instance, their cold foam often separates quickly, ruining the texture and the overall experience.
The issues behind the scenes are even worse. Management is a complete disaster: the manager is unorganized, unprofessional, and uninterested in running a smooth operation. Employees are underpaid at $8 an hour in cash, which is not a livable wage and raises serious concerns about fair labor practices. To make matters worse, they still haven’t paid me my final paycheck—even though it’s been over three months.
On top of that, The Latte Factory has alarming health code violations. Milks are frequently left out for extended periods, and proper food safety standards are clearly not being followed. This negligence doesn’t just reflect poorly on management but also raises serious concerns about customer safety.
If you’re in West Town Mall and craving coffee, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. There are far better options nearby that value both quality and the well-being of their employees...
Read more$20 for a terrible drink. Watched them have what felt like an entire debate on how to make the drink. Tried to remove things from the drink to make it fit in the cup. I ordered 4 shots of expresso (which they charged me $1.90 for. It was very clearly weak from where I was standing. But the cost isn’t what the issue was). It’s a pretty basic request. I basically got a blended cup of ice with caramel flavor. I trashed it because well, it was insanely depressing. The only positive experience was the cashier who was competent enough to ring the order up correctly. She should probably be in charge of making the drinks. The 2 women making the drinks were incapable of making the cup of coffee correctly without a bunch of idk if we can do that. It was very depressing watching 2 adults struggle to make a basic cup of coffee. It was not busy either. So this wasn’t a matter of them being busy and overwhelmed. Save your money and goto a coffee shop where they understand basic instruction and can look at the chart that clearly shows them how to make the drink. This isnt rocket science it’s literally...
