A&M Smoothies — Restaurant in Knoxville

Some of the best smoothies I’ve had, and they do great on that front. If what you’re wanting is just a smoothie, I absolutely recommend this A&M. That being said, they also have coffee drinks of the menu and I can’t say I recommend those nearly as much.

Every drink I’ve gotten has been extremely sweet, and while I’m sure that’s a great for some people, I didn’t request for the drinks to be that sweet nor was I asked.

This never bothered me that much to the point of leaving a review until I decided to try their White Lavender Mocha, and was seemingly given a drink with no coffee at all in it? The drink both looked and tasted like just straight milk with hints of lavender and maybe some of the white chocolate. I’m not sure if the people here just don’t know what a mocha is, or if they had run out of coffee and thought “Oh well, good enough,” and just gave it to me without even asking me. Either way, I feel disturbed and betrayed. I was expecting a pleasant little desert drink with some caffeine to boost me up for my day, and was instead given milk loaded with sugar and a smidge of lavender flavor.

In addition, staff tends to be extremely slow. It very much so depends on who’s working that day of course, but I’ve waited nearly 10 minutes for a smoothie that other times I’ve gotten in 5, and this wasn’t on a busy day where they had other orders. I’m a mall employee with 15 minute breaks, and so while I’m a very patient person who’s usually understanding, I can’t really understand the delay in these situations because a lot of the time the workers just seem to be doing basic tasks at a...

Never have I once waited 30 minutes on a muffin. When I walked to the counter to let her know we had been waiting on it for a while and we're in a rush she was incredibly rude. 20 minutes after placing out order I asked plainly if we could get the muffin we had ordered since we needed to leave. She said after she finished her task so I put it plainly that all she had to do was take it out the display case. Apparently those are display only so i had to wait for her to grab one from back. The girl had no urgency even though the mall was closed and there were people also waiting on their order. After 5 or so minutes after asking she pulled out a tray of muffins, obviously from a Costco, and put one in the microwave. It sat in there for 5 minutes until I yet again have to ask her to pull it from the microwave. Finally we have it, but after walking away we realized the order was also wrong. Was fasting and wanted to break my fast with a healthy smoothie, however was so so DISAPPOINTED when I ordered a banana strawberry coconut smoothie.

This smoothie was HORRIBLE, it was the texture of water & tasted like ice!!!!

Obviously cutting way-way-way back on ingredients in products.

Some clients get a decent smoothies, while the rest of us get flavored ice water smoothies.

Will NOT patronize this establishment again!!!!
