Normally I love TJ maxx. However, I was shopping and an associate came and told me the store was closing soon, she asked if I needed help but I felt like she was very intrusive. She said â the store is closing in 5 minutesâ. As someone who already has social anxiety it made me feel Out of place and and pointed out. as if she was trying to push me out the store. I understand that if itâs near closing they tell you, but they were already making announcements. Also, there were other customers near by which she did not address or tell them it was closing soon. They were holding merchandise and I was not. There for giving the impression if you are not buying get out. I am a normal customer of this franchise of stores but I will try not to go To this location because retail workers are paid by the hour and should not be pushing customers to leave. If you have an issue of someone shopping close to closing work at a store that closes early. Iâd understand if it was last closing time but it wasnât even closing time yet. You should never make your guests feel like an inconvenience or out of place. Again it wasnât even at the time of closing it was near not not passed closing. It was also as if she was profiling me because I look young or I wasnât holding any merchandise. It would be different if I heard her tell other customers near me but she did not. I can hear the announcements on the store intercom, I donât need someone telling me directly, itâs not a good look for...
Read moreHave you went in the store done shopping and purchase my items and then I saw one of the Pride love gift card and I wanted to get the gift card to add money to it at a later date and the manager as well as the cashier refused to allow me to do so saying that I could be doing some kind of malware hack or something of that sort it's a gift card I mean what can I do go in the store and upload money that's the only thing basically I could do but they saw differently and I was very offended so as to return my Merchant well when I asked her return my merchandise. They tried to insist so I could take the card and it would be okay no problem well by then I was already upset frustrated and embarrassed because of their lack of common sense of what a gift card can actually do so I return my items bless the gift card and we'll never go back into the store again because of the treatment I received from the cashier and the manager on duty both were females that I dealt with the girl was ringing register 3 and the manager evidently has a gay son because she said her son would like to have one of those Pride love gift cards also but he couldn't have one whatever that means so that's my experience with this store you need more knowledgeable people and better trained management that is up-to-date on how gift cards work they are free for the customer to take and add money to at any date but these people that I dealt with acted like they had no knowledge o f the gift card policy...
