Suburban Plaza — Local services in Knoxville

Although it’s an hour drive we go every month to stock our freezer and refrigerator with all the goodies we love. We’re from southern California and for some 20 plus years frequented Trader Joe’s. They have the most amazing food from fresh flowers, fruits and vegetables to a great selection of meats and frozen goods. We find everything we love including the wonderful collections of breads, dairy, nuts. desserts including a great selections of wine. The store has such a unique selection of things you will not find anywhere else! We tell everyone we know about Trader Joe’s. While traveling we found another store in Chattanooga and stopped in to shop for some goodies as well. I can’t help but tell my friends and coworkers about the place. We get so excited to go and shop there and over the years we’ve purchased their famous cooler tote bags which we bring to pack frozen and cold items on our long way back home. I think have one in every color and also have a lunch tote too lol! BTW the frozen chocolate croissants are out of this world! Set them out to rise and then put them in the oven and you will be pleasantly surprised on how incredibly delicious they are! Suburban Plaza is fairly small yet feature-rich when it comes to the diversity of stores in that area. It's located directly off of the West Hills exit on Interstate 40 or from the Walker Springs exit on Interstate 40, respectively. You'll find a variety of different shops from Barnes & Noble, Toys R Us down to Trader Joes. Pictures of parking lot with a jeweler and bank. I found the parking lot to be fairly dangerous due to traffic crossing over parking spaces which are simply painted on and not designated and divided by concrete barriers or curbs. There are however several speed bumps which if you do not see in time could damage your vehicle because they are not built into the road and simply laid on top of it. Although not a good one. 1st, No paper or kiosk printout for us to hand the front counter employee and caused him such a confusion that he literally 1st ignored our repeated requests for a manager, then started to walk over and get his manager, but then changed his mind, turned and came back to the register said no and called up the guy behind us. How very untrained!?! Then we finally got a blonde young manager lady who smiled politely and walked right on our the door having done not a damn thing to help us. What's up with customer service these days...
