I Love This Store!! Went on Monday to buy glitter gel pens to replenish my almost bare stash at home, and a few devotional books for women for gifts. Found both! At excellent prices! Decision s again were difficult due to ALL the great selection choices, and I had to keep telling myself to Not buy more than I needed( I did, though, but only 2 not really needed right then, but couldn't help myself!). Also found a great selection of plain tees in all shades of colors, that can be left plain or decorate yourself. All at great prices, too! Went a bit overboard here, too, but was justified since I needed new ones in smaller size due to recent weight loss.( Such a chore!) Bought coloring(adult)books, and a neat neon green lap desk that has a cup holder and two places for whatever you want to put there, like gel pens ,colored pencils, etc. AND a storage container to hold ALL my pens, pencils, etc.,that locked! Can you tell I liked this store??! I even went back on Thurs to get more "stuff" I didn't get on Monday! Plus I'd given a friend ideas for herself of a couple items I had bought Monday. We went together,as we did on Monday. I'm going to have to make limitations on my trips here: the number of times I go a month,AND to stick to a list( horrors!!) From now on. Will be difficult to do,but I'll do my best to stick to it. This is a store I could spend all day in,just Looking at everything!!! Lots of help from employees, too. So,go visit, and I dare you to walk out...
Read moreI have never seen such a mess of a store. Hundreds of products all for very specific things spread about across a labyrinth of shelves and kiosks but absolutely nothing is labeled. There are no signs up anywhere in that store that would signify where specific types of things would be grouped at or which part of the store you might need to walk to if you’re looking for a certain thing and you can’t see past whatever the nearest shelf is to you. On top of it being impossible to find anything in that store if you’re looking for someone to ask for help or maybe point you in the right direction, you’re not going to have much luck with that either because I was in this store at 5:00pm on a Monday walking around for 35 minutes trying to find envelopes and not one person who worked there offered to help or was available for me to ask them for help. Never doing Hobby Lobby again, Micheal’s was a far...
Read moreAlright. So my boyfriend and I went in this store today for beads to make bracelets. Which was cool because the beads were half off. We were probably in there for like 30 minutes in like the same section looking at all the charms/ beads. Only one person talked to us and it was to tell us the beads were half off. Cool. But then I realized like 6 employees had been watching us and I got super uncomfortable. I second guessed myself but my boyfriend also agreed he thought we were being watched when we continued to walk around so we purchased our stuff and left. They even did a “loss prevention” announcement on intercom. (Could’ve been coincidental) The cashier seemed super unhappy too. I work in retail where I am actively learning about loss prevention and I know the signs when employees are watching a theft. Just felt very...
