So not been here in long time, sadly nothing like best buy used to be at all. While the store is super clean and modern looking I used to shop here for everything from music to movies to video games to car speakers and home music systems to just a good old fashioned boom box. There movie section is now very small to point of why even have one at all, they carry no music anymore at all, the video game section is nothing like it used to be, so much smaller then used to be, they have no PlayStation systems available of either ps4 or ps5 and no Xbox systems , no ps4 controllers and only a few ps5 items , they have some very nice tv's for sale if u can afford them and lots of phones and fancy appliances for sale, for me this is the place for getting a new t.v. when i ready to upgrade to next high end t.v. however for just smaller items like in the past there very little need for me to shop here anymore sadly. Now I realize there a part of the market today that has gone 100 precent digital on just about all media and entertainment and has no use for any physical items anymore and that totally fine however there another part of the market that still wants to buy physical items whether just for a collection or just prefer to have a item in there hand wjen they buy something or then there people in the middle like myself who love having some things being digital but still also buys dvds from time to time or wants to buy records or collects video games and other stuff like that and this store seems to have decided to move 100 precent to the future and that all good but they leaving behind many people who not there yet and some who might never go 100 precent digital in...
Read moreI wish I could give negative stars. Let me start out by saying that I did not purchase their extended warranty and am aware of that however I feel like they could have done SOMETHING to help me and chose to do nothing. My husband and I bought a fridge from them a year and a half ago. It was recommended to me by the sales guy to purchase the one we got which was an LG. My husband and I were looking at an Insignia brand and the sales guy told us he “did not” recommended that brand. Fast forward as of last week our fridge no longer works. First the freezer went then the whole fridge. I talked to two “managers” and not one of them had an ounce of empathy or feeling bad that we purchased a 1,000 fridge from them that no longer works a year and a half later. Not once did I hear a sorry or any sort trying to work with me on anything. Their stance was to do absolutely nothing. Basically said because your 6 months over the warranty you get nothing. They wouldn’t budge on the slightest help or any sort of customer support for something they sold us. They could have offered to send a a repair guy to look at it and wouldn’t do that. I was told that would be a 125 dollar charge. To say I will never purchase a single item from Best Buy again is an understatement. The Sheboygan store “managers” didn’t “have” to do anything for me and went out of their way to make it so. It’s frustrating to live in a world that only cares about corporate bottom line and not to help out the customers that make them. I will...
Read moreIts been nearly 10yrs since I purchased a new laptop. I do not use a computer that heavily. I primarily use my LG phone or my LG tablet for 95% of my computer/internet type needs. I was not looking to spend over $500.00 for a computer. I was looking at the Lenovo 330 ideapad and had previously did my homework on a laptop for nearly 30 days prior to making a purchase. I was greeted promptly at Best Buy and was in the computer dept and an associate greeted me within 2 to 3 minutes. I was in the area that the Lenovo laptops were located and another customer was already looking at the same models I was looking at. After that customer made a decision. My associate was friendly and knowledgeable of both models. 330 ideapad was at $399.99 and the other model was at $499.99. The assocociate was listening to me but was trying to get me into the higher priced model. However, with my computung needs I was not seeing the benefit in the extra $100.00 and also the $129 for Microsoft 1 license with no additional subscription fees and the extra cost for additional warranty. So ultimately we came to an impass. But, because of the upsell technique I went back to Wal-Mart and purchased the same Lenovo 330 Ideapad for $314.00 and the Microsoft software for $129.00 and the extended warranty and I ended up saving nearly 75.00 after the additional costs. Was turned away by the upsell technique. Maybe works but not...
