Tractor Supply Co. — Local services in Kuna

I've always experienced great customer service from Kuna Tractor Supply up until today. The manager was great the staff outside was great I had no problem finding what I needed as they were willing to accommodate what I needed they had two chicken coops one was on a rain check for another customer so I had asked if I could get their model that they had built out front they said yes with an assembly fee I agreed to the assembly fee I went to the register to pay for the coop that I was going to be getting and Loan behold Here Comes Dave the customer service at checkout everything was great until I handed him the cash the order came out to $344 and some change I intentionally set $350 laid out for him in 20s with one 10 dollar bill he then proceeded to pick up the cash exactly $140 in his hand split it from how I had already laid it out for him and when I corrected him when he said it was $50 he screamed in my face and said that he knew how to count I've never been spoken to with such disrespect from any employee anywhere this is not the only account that I've had with him there being nasty to customers has been three other accounts where he himself has been snippety with me or another customer I have over heard. I really don't appreciate going into a local feed and farm store that I frequent and being spoke to that way I spend thousands of dollars with this company (several locations) a year absolutely was no reason for him to raise his voice and get snippy with me over a innocent comment. Tractor Supply is great. In the last 2 weeks I've found myself there for lawn tractor belts, grade 5 and grade 8 nuts and bolts, and a new air compressor. All this despite the fact that I dont live anywhere near Tractor Supply. Why? They have the best combination of price, selection, quality, and service.

Examples: I needed a pair of belts for my riding mower. I knew the measurements I needed. I assumed, incorrectly, that the Lowe's down the street from my house would have what I needed. After about half an hour there, they told me they could order the belts for me and have them there in a week and a half, and that they would cost me just over $100. I left and went to Tractor Supply. In 5 minutes I had what I needed and I only paid $40.

The next day I went back to Tractor Supply to buy an air compressor. Their price was by far the best in the valley for the model I wanted. They loaded it up in my truck and I went on my way.

Here's the impressive part. When I got the compressor home, I discovered it had been assembled incorrectly at the factory and leaked. I went back to Tractor Supply and told them about my problem. They apologized, and offered to either exchange it, or to give me the tool needed to fix it (3/4 inch pipe tap) for free. Being that this was a very large compressor, which required either a forklift, or several strong people to load or unload, I accepted the free tap and fixed it myself.

In each case, the price, selection, and service was the best in the valley. It's worth the...

Terrible customer service at this location. I went in for one thing, a garden auger, that the website said they had in stock. When I got there I checked with the person at the customer service desk and they said that they had 7 in stock. We looked around the store and were unable to locate them. The person helping me asked the store manager, Eric, and was told they were in backstock. However, he also said he would not sell me one because they were already packed away for the season.

Worst customer service at any store I have ever been to. You have an item in stock that I need but you won't sell it to me because you don't want to go get it out of the back?

Worst of all I was the only customer in the store on a Monday afternoon with at least 4 employees working that I could count.
