Can't believe this just happened again!? Fix your app. It's robbing me of my earned rewards! I am so incredibly frustrated. I'm tempted to stop shopping at del Taco. This is the second time that I have earned over 350 points to get a free del Taco and I choose to place the order through the app. It removes the points and says your 88 points away from your next reward. It does not show me my free del Taco. It does not go into the cart it acts like I'm starting over again. If I look in the history it shows 350 points redeemed for a del Taco but it doesn't place the order with the restaurant and the restaurant manager says sorry we can't do anything about that. You have to contact customer service and the last time I did that I never got even a reply. Horrible customer service. This really can't be the way del Taco treats their customers. I need not only the two del tacos that I've been robbed from that I earned points for but I need something else on top of that to pay me back for my frustration and having to wait. This is just ridiculous. Why have a rewards program? A loyalty program that creates just the opposite come on now. I hope you'll reach out to me and if make this right!! What a joke App had a glitch and manager would not give me my del Taco reward. I had just placed an order online and pick that up for two small tacos and that put me over the margin of 350 points to get my free del Taco. When I went to order through the app it looked like it was going to charge me so I backed out and then it said the order had been redeemed. This guy said he was the general manager and just would not take care of me. Said they can't get food away for free. Very poor customer service and then I'm having to call corporate and he would not even give me a number that I had to look it up on my own. Owners, please take care of those. Read moreIn order to begin to describe and allow you to picture the negative experience I had at DelTaco in Kuna, Idaho, it is important to understand the basic information and circumstances that were present. It is unacceptable for customers to be treated poorly and unprofessionally by any business, and the staff at this location failed to provide even the basic level of customer service that should be expected. It is concerning that the staff was toxic in attitude and that they charged us for water from the tap. Water is a necessity that should always be provided free of charge, and it is disappointing that the staff at DelTaco did not recognize this. It is also disappointing that they denied us entry to eat inside, especially if the restaurant was not at capacity and there was space available for me and my friends. Additionally, the fact that the food took an excessive amount of time to be dispensed suggests a lack of organization or efficiency in the restaurant's operations. Customers should not have to wait an unreasonable amount of time for their food, especially if they are paying for it. Overall, I would not recommend this DelTaco location based on our experience. The poor customer service, disrespectful attitude, and unprofessional behavior of the staff are unacceptable and indicate a lack of respect for their customers. When you visit a restaurant, you expect to be treated with respect and kindness, regardless of the circumstances. The employees at this location were anything but respectful and kind. Instead, they were rude, dismissive, and unhelpful, which is simply unacceptable. When employees are not properly trained, they may not know how to handle certain situations or provide the level of service that customers expect. It seems that the employees at this DelTaco location were not trained to handle customer complaints or provide basic customer service. This is a serious problem that needs to be addressed by management. Read moreWell they are definitely kid friendly. A couple came in to interview together with their four kids at the same time right in front of were you order. The manager ignored every customer that came in including my wife and I who had already been waiting for our food for over 15 minutes. We only ordered a couple things by the way. We watched two people leave cause they were ignored by every employee. One guy walk by us as he left and said well she made my decision easy to leave. He was talking about the manager. I told him I was about to donate my money and leave without my food. As we waited longer for our food the manager went to the back then back up front. Looked right at me then went outside to talk to the family interviewing. When she came in she yelled out loud in excitement (we got a new closer) I said you need an opener since we still hadn’t gotten our food. Nearly 30 minutes later in total we told the manager we just wanted our money back. She says no no no wait it’s right here almost done. We took the food then I asked her before we left about one of her employees that I felt was in an unsafe environment. She was rude in her response as I was genuinely concerned for his safety. She said he was special then proceeded to ignore me. I tried to tell her I definitely have no problem with that at all but the kid was passing out standing up counting tortillas and nearly drooling them and the freshly graded cheese next to him. I’m all for equal opportunity but maybe there’s something safer to do than being in a kitchen with hot grills and knives. That shows me the manager doesn’t care about her employees or customers.
