Nara Ramen and Sushi Bar - Kuna — Restaurant in Kuna

We have been here twice since they opened. Tonight, we came in, and they were SUPER busy, but everyone of the staff members were moving quickly to get everyone taken care of. I looked over at one point, and all the cooks were laughing and smiling. It just looked like they were having a good time and not stressed out, like I would be being so busy. We had the best waitress tonight. While I didn't catch her name, I did hear that Kuna isn't her normal store. She was just filling in since they were short staffed tonight. Well, she did a fantastic job. I never had to ask for a refill. She was super friendly and did her best to chat with us when she had a moment. We didn't feel rushed even though there were other people waiting. My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner tonight. All around, everything was great. I highly recommend giving this...

Food was okay, it definitely had potential. I just may need to try something else. However, the staff have got to be the most awkward people ive ever interacted with at a restaurant. Our waitress could barely speak english, and had no idea how to use her little device to take our order. To the point where we had to place our order on it for her. The kid that came up to clean our table, while we were still sitting down by the way, was equally awkward. Again the food was good and the atmosphere was fine. We'll give it another try, maybe it was a one-off with them...

I love this place, but I will start with the negatives. They need to get a cold unfiltered sake. There's one on the menu, but it was literally warm and filtered and tasted like cheap vodka. Lack of good sake is the only thing preventing me from making this my go-to sushi place. They also could use a little kids menu. Besides that, the food is great and very reasonably priced. Sushi quality and presentation is amazing. Ramen is amazing. Appetizers have all been great. I have zero issues besides the things mentioned above. I hope this place...
