I’d like to start with, I’ve never left a negative review before, but I feel that my recent experience with the shop department at D&B in Kuna warrants such a review. I randomly had issues with my lawnmower Thursday of last week and took in to D&B to be repaired. When I dropped it off the next day (Friday) I spoke to a gentleman who said officially they were 2 weeks out on repairs, but realistically it’d probably be about a week, maybe 10 days. Cool, I understand it’s the summer and everybody needs their lawnmower. I also asked for the tech to call me once he got it diagnosed so that I could decide if it was worth fixing or not. I hadn’t heard anything by Wednesday so I called, thinking that surely somebody had at least looked at it, I spoke to somebody in the shop and he was pretty short with me and informed me that they were 2-3 weeks out and that nobody had touched it yet. No problem, but I need my lawnmower back because now I’m almost two weeks since my last mow and it’s getting hairy. I did a little looking on Google and found a mobile service to come to my house the first part of next week. I went to D&B this afternoon to pick it up and spoke to another person from the shop. I told him who I was and that I was there to pick up my lawnmower. He grabbed some tickets out of the filing cabinet and told me that mine wasn’t ready. I told him that I knew that and it was ok, that I had called yesterday and learned that they were further behind than I thought and that I wasn’t mad, but I was going to have to take it somewhere else. His only response was “good luck”. When I told him I found somebody to get me in the first part of next week, he stared at me for a minute then told me to pull around to the back to load out. When I got back there nobody was around, so I looked and found what must have been mine set to the side haphazardly (I checked the name before I made off with it). I waited for a minute to see if someone was going to come make sure I got the right one/help me load it in the back of my truck, but nobody came. So I loaded it by myself and left. The morale of the story, and I hate being this guy, is that I won’t go back to D&B, not because of the lead time. Again, I get it it’s the summer and they’re busy. I won’t be back because of the poor customer service and attitude of the...
Read moreLove D & B for shopping and such. Service at this store is a nope! Recently, I took 2 chainsaws in to be serviced at the Deerflat location. Dropped of an Echo purchased somewhere else and a Stihl purchased at D&B, was asked at drop off if they were running I advised they both were and simply needed them serviced, cleaned up, chains sharpened and requested an extra chain for each. I was called about a week later saying they were ready for pickup. When I arrived, the guy who serviced them was not there, and the invoice for the Echo stated it was serviced with a note that it was not running! I didn't want to leave them there and couldn't talk to anyone who worked on them, so I collected my saws, paid the bill, and came home. I tried to get my Echo running and found a fouled spark plug!!! I changed out the spark plug and low and behold it started up like normal. Super disappointing they they thought it was ok to return a non running saw without even doing a basic diagnostic, not to mention neither of the saws were wiped down or cleaned up at all. I called the store to make the manager of the store aware of the poor service provided, and she seemed very disinterested at all in the situation. I wasn't looking for any compensation, just making them aware and was met with indifference. I spent $90 per saw, overpriced for the value of service provided. I'm more than dispointed and will not be using their service department again for any of...
Read moreBecause of a family reference for a place to buy boots and living in Kuna, I decided to go to our local D&B and buy some new boots, being disabled I don't like extra attention but after seeing the power shopping cart and the friendly greeting I received I went to the huge selection of the many rows of boots I was approached in a way who anyone who is interested in a item that isn't a expert of! And I must of been so lucky to have McKenzie be my helper not only did she help me try on every boot in the store she actually showed a intrest in all the items I needed like dog food which I would have never new was on the market? After sharing the type dog's we owned she explained this feeding system that was scientology and how much it helped with her dogs! After letting me ware the boots we picked out in the store while I went to look at the hat's like the one that I lost, which I couldn't find she pointed out the stetson and knowing I couldn't afford a new one especially a "stetson" I said nevermind but curious I said how much for the cheapest one she said like this one ya she says ten bucks! No way I said I will take one then noticing that we're closing up I said good night, when leaving the parking lot was taking me so long I herd a voice behind me asking if it was me who just bought the boots I turned around and it was McKenzie she pointed me in the right direction, I was so impressed I went back again and will return with another...
