Year 2021 So we went here being locals about 2 years ago when it just opened and it was phenomenal because the owner was roaming around.
Since that time over the last two years we have gone twice because the service was entirely terrible along with the food.
horrible long wait times and rude staff and the food was awful.
Then about a week ago we got takeout unfortunately and the blue cheese salad dressing made two of us sick by the next day.
We clarified it was blue cheese because only the two of us that ate the salad with blue cheese got sick And took us out of work and school the next day.
Needless to say we have no intention to going anytime soon and I highly encourage you to smell test check the food as best you can we didn't notice it either until the next day.

This was a tremendous experience everything we hoped it would be and more as we're past customers of the other Smoky Mountains so we had high expectations for this location.
We certainly were not disappointed. we met the owner John and so glad we did, nice friendly personal man very enjoyable to speak with and took such good care of everybody in his establishment and even brought out a chocolate cake for our daughter's 8th birthday as she chose Smoky Mountain for dinner tonight.
As locals we come to love the Smoky Mountain restaurants and we all have our particular favorites we were so glad to learn from talking to John and in our experience that he did not make any undo changes to spoil what we were expecting from the other great locations.
The food and service was absolutely fabulous we couldn't have expected or ask for better, everything was on time punctual and hot when it arrived.
Must say the owner John really went above and beyond and setting this location up it looks great, feels great, it's comfortable, it's enjoyable to be in the atmosphere and while we were there he took such great care of us what a great host we really appreciated him.
Even with so many people in the restaurant and seven of us in our party we are still able to carry on normal conversation as the decor in the room and set up of the booths didn't allow for it to be an echo chamber.
This location really does live up to the Smoky Mountain expectations and I would recommend it to anyone as we look forward to going back. Really...
Read moreTLDR: food was good, staff was not. Be prepared to wait a long time for service and to hunt down a waitress for drink refills.
Good food, laid back chill atmosphere. The meals have good flavor and are served with appetizing visual aesthetic. And those are important to a good dining experience.
The customer service, another component of a good dining experience, is a bit lacking. We sat for several minutes before a drink order was taken, which is a bit too much time to wait for this type of restaurant. We waited again for about ten minutes or so after the drinks were finally brought to have our orders taken. I had a side salad delivered fairly quickly, which surprised me . The main course, however, took another 20-25 minutes. When it arrived, a key side sauce was missing. I had to get up and find the waitress to ask for it. It was brought over fairly quickly, but without any acknowledgment that a mistake had been made. We had to find the waitress again to get our drinks refilled.
Then we had to wait a long time after the meal to get the check, then an inordinate amount of time after that to have the payment processed, and so forth. All the little things we come to expect from these mid class restaurants (Shari's, IHOP, Texas Roadhouse, etc) like being asked how the meal is, the waitress stopping by to refill drinks, asking if the diners are doing dessert, if they'll be needing a to-go box, those kinds of things were all painfully lacking.
Maybe it was just a bad day, but this isn't the first time I've had this impression of a lackadaisical and indifferent staff at this location.
The food was good, though, so I might venture back again, but only if I have a couple of hours to kill. Oh, and there were three other tables filled when we were there in a virtually empty dining area, so they weren't exactly busy. I guess the staff had better things to do with their time than to take care of...
Read moreDinner last night was a disaster!! Our family was really looking forward to a fun night out with some good food & drinks... Saying it was a disaster is an understatement! The adult kids had bacon Mac & cheese, a favorite of theirs, only the Mac was missing the cheese. Completely. They were served noodles with bits of bacon scattered on top. The staff remade the meal after we complained to two different people. My son had a steak with his that was very 'well' done and flavorless, which we paid $23 for! We ordered the spinach artichoke dip with pita bread. The dip was delicious, however the pita bread was so stale. When we complained, they stayed they were out of the pita bread. They were also out of bacon, mushrooms, pickles & straws among other things. We were told there was NO manager for that store and the cooking staff consisted of 'trainees' only!! All of their 'main Cooks' were not working. On a busy Friday night??!! NO COOKS? NO MANAGER? LIMITED FOOD? I understand there is a staff shortage at many local businesses, however... We spent $150 on a family meal that was a complete and total disaster! Food: Awful Drinks: Good Staff: lacking to say the least! Our waitress was very kind and tried to be as accommodating as possible, but the bar tender who was apparently 'in charge' tried to tell us our meal was perfectly fine... Lady, there's no cheese in the Mac and cheese! I could have boiled noodles at home! We ended up paying full price for a sub-par meal and 2 hours of complete frustration & disappointment! We won't be back anytime soon. If you're going to open the doors to a restaurant, you should maybe plan on having at least one trained cook in...
