Weigel's — Local services in La Follette

During these turbulent times many speak of rude treatment by workers in public stores but I wish to praise a cashier at Weigels in Jacksboro,Heidi Housley, c beautiful, kind n cashier there literally made my day. Earlier that day my bank card payment was declined because someone had attempted to use my account. I had returned home, rolled up some quarters, returned to Weigels with the money and attempted to get enough gas to get to my bank in Knoxville to get another bank card. When I handed Heidi the roll of quarters she said, “just a minute.”she walked back to a room in the back, got her own bank card,. came back to the register, paid the $10.00 with her own money, and refused to take my roll of quarters. I couldn’t believe it. What an amazing young lady. This kind,, thoughtful act amazed me. We often hear how young people are so rude and unkind, but this sweet. Beautiful girl took her own money and paid my bill.Weigel’s is lucky to have such a kind, thoughtful. worker, and she deserves a raise for this random of kindness. She changed my life that day by going out of her way to help me. She made me want to pass her kindness on. I'm not going to lie. The place is a ship wreck. The fountain area is always a disaster zone. Sticky mess out of cups. Donut case could use more than one wipe down. Floors could use a sweeping. Even just spot sweeps. The coolers need stocked better. There's being out of items then there is just too lazy to touch anything. Not to mention the employees are extremely rude. The manager is one of them. Employees lounge on the back counter chit chatting or on their phones. Ignoring lines. Leaving it on one person. There's a girl that has kinda long brown hair wears glasses. She couldn't look up from her cell phone texting away. Happened multiple times. Manager standing there like nothing's happening. Pretty sure weigels has a phone policy. Especially while being at the register. Not to mention they roll their eyes at people, Huff and puff when they get upset with customers. Their nightly stock guy is great. Always working. The one during the day needs to be retrained on stock. Let's be honest a good handful of them need retrained. Definitely disappointing. Especially after working there myself and know the potential it once had and...

I love weigels, I stop at them everyday love the frozen mocha coffee’s. I will say that they don’t all match up since I drive an hour to work I can tell you the best one is Wesland ave. Laura the assistant manager is awesome nothing there is ever out of order, it’s the cleanest food is always fresh and no matter how busy they are I never really have to wait. Laura always tells me she hopes I’ve had a good day at work. Lafollette is also good and friendly Rocky top could use some help. Clinton is the worst one there machines are always broken the one at the corner of edge more rd has a super nice lady who makes the breakfast but also seems to struggle with machines. The ones on Northshore always over charges me don’t seem as friendly. Emory rd seems to be ok but I rarely stop by there. Out of them all for consistency wesland ave.
