Mugs Ice Cream — Restaurant in La Follette

We are still talking about our shakes an hour after we ate them.. The freakshakes were out of this world!! The BEAUTIFUL presentation is only the beginning. I had the banana cream pie freak shake. Tasted just like my memaw’s. So delicious, big banana chunks and vanilla wafers. My bf had a s’mores- so chocolatey. Full of yummy marshmallows and graham crackers. We had a million questions and the staff working were so kind and helpful and PATIENT with us. Lots of menu items- even if you aren’t an ice cream lover! Drive through and outdoor seating. We cannot wait to go back!!! We were so excited to eat, I failed to take any photos. Snapped one of my new Mugs...

My sister and her granddaughter from California were visiting along with my daughter and her family of 8. Mug’s wasn’t quite open yet, but they were glad to take our order. Everything was delicious!

The only recommendation I would make is, when there is a large group with children, make sure the children get their treats first. It seems it would be obvious, but apparently not. The 3 year old was last and was quite upset because her order was forgotten altogether! We had to remind them.

Other than that, we will go back! My sister wants some of their T-Shirts! I’ll have to show them to her so she can choose!!!

Delicious ice cream, enjoyable outside seating area, and friendly staff. They had 2 dairy free options for my husband to choose from, which was awesome. My Dad enjoyed a chocolate peanut butter shake. I had one of their specials with the red, white, and blue freakshake in mini topped with a homemade fruit sugar cookie pizza. Just be prepared to wait a bit on the freakshakes. My husband had finished his double scoop before I even got mine. Definitely check them out, and if you aren't local, don't forget to post your location sticker on their map!!
