I started out as a client of Wendy’s at another studio, however I have followed her and would continue to follow her wherever she chooses to go. They say find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life. That is definitely the case for Wendy. She puts so much love and passion into teaching you how to properly move your body with intention. She knows how to rehab ailments and injuries and truly cares about every single body she touches. She believes in you and your abilities and pushes you to be the best version of yourself. I’ve never had another instructor who gives so much of their energy in the pursuit of making you feel seen and cared for. She has the ability to create a community where we all feel supported and connected to each other. This studio is a step above and it’s all because of the foundation of encouragement and acceptance that Wendy and her staff encompasses. Wendy at Evolving Pilates is the most amazing pilates instructor I have encountered throughout the entirety of San Diego. She is uplifting, positive, and passionate about her clients and the art of Pilates. Not only is each class catered to your needs but, each one includes one-on-one corrections, modifications, and tips from Wendy. Unlike at other studios, I feel that Wendy is constantly paying attention to her clients, rather than solely leading us with a pre-set workout flow. I took a Pilates class with Wendy and it was absolutely amazing! Wendy is incredibly talented and engaging—she brings so much knowledge to every movement and takes the time to teach and correct with such care. I felt completely supported throughout the class, especially as someone who is postpartum. The environment was so positive and uplifting, and I left feeling both stronger and more energized. It’s rare to find an instructor who creates such an empowering space, and Wendy truly delivers. Can’t wait to go back!
