Well dogs still scratching after weeks of bathing and bathing, washing all their bedding evey other day. I've sprayed the yard and dogs. So much they run from me. So tired and frustrated from trying so many different things. My dogs would not go outside. FINALLY LaPorte Feed Store had the solution that helped me fix this. I bought the oral treatment, spay for the carpet on the stairs. More spray for they dogs coats. Frustrated dogs still scratching, Yesterday I sat with each one. Found about 5 flees on Baby, 4 on Sandy, 2 on Max. None on Maggie my 85 pound pit/lab. This morning still scratching. Thought baby eggs still hatching. I grabbed my flee comb, water with dawn for flees found, cocanut oil. Wash cloths and foam bowl for the oil so I don't dip in the jar. Again washing their beading. This makes about every day for 2 weeks. I found 1 flee on Baby, 1 on Max, none on Sandy or Maggie. So I warmed the cocanut oil in my hand an rubbed all in the hair and skin making sure to get all the irritated dry areas. They loved it much better then the spray and they love to eat it. So licking is ok much better then scratching. Finally some relief for these babies and piece of mind for me. I'm going to treat my yard a 4th time, the stairs and keep doing what I'm doing. I didn't realize this place was under "new" ownership.. they took over 3 years ago & I haven't been here in awhile so I was surprised to see the new updates and excited to see they kept the old western style feed store charm. I also love that they added a little animal arena with various farm animals and a cool emu. I went for a special LONESTAR feed hat, and my daughters got a free train ride in custom 55 gallon barrel drums as their little boxcar seats.. it was so cute! It's great to see a family run business with the kids involved in the operation of it. They were all so polite, friendly, patient, and great customer service! Went to Frontier Feed Wednesday morning as I have been doing for about 10 years. Was cold and misty outside. Though I was about 5 minutes early to opening, they would not let me wait inside, even though the door was unlocked. So went down the street to LaPorte Feed and Supply. Was greeted at the door with a smile and visited with the husband and wife (owners) and their son for about 20 minutes. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. WOW, what a difference. They earned my business with EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. To top it off, the bill was a few $ less, but would still go back if it were more. Also, Bella loved the Salmon. ...
