This review is for the service NOT the quality of food. I visited Firehouse during rush hour (lunch) on 6/20/2018 between 12:00 - 1:00PM. I ordered a small hook and ladder with chips and drink. After 23 minutes I decided to go in and ask for a refund. The person responsible for the refund, not going to call her manager because clearly she can't manage, starts out by asking me "have you eaten your chips?" which I reply "no." Then she follows up with, "What about your drink, you want to keep your drink?" keep in mind I was waiting 25+ minutes at this point so my drink was watered down. So I finally figured out what she was doing. She only wanted to refund me for the sandwich (LOLing in retrospect). So at this point I said "here is my drink if you really want it." It was sweaty and watered down as stated before. So I followed that up with "don't you think after spending half an hour waiting, letting the customer keep the drink is the least you can do?" That's normal practice. To which she replied, "We have weird policies." Not that I wanted to keep the drink, I surrendered it willingly. It was just very unprofessional.
If you're the owner of this business, it is time to start looking into your staff. I saw lots of people waiting and they were not happy. My wait time was spent on the tables outdoors. At least 3-4 cars backed out from the drive thru lane. This happened after they had ordered. I was sitting right next to the order system. In short, wasted time, wasted food, inefficient OR understaff personnel. This is constructive criticism and nothing else. I did receive a full refund after all...
Read moreI Love Fire House Subs!! I went in on Veteran's Day to get my free meal. It was around 4:00pm. I had gotten off work at 3:30. I work in Pasadena. Yes. Veterans do work! So I walk in. There is a black female behind the counter and Iâm guessing a Hispanic male busing tables. No customers in the restaurant. Neither one greeted me. No one said âWelcome to Fire House Subs.â I went up to the female and asked her if they were serving the meals for Veterans. Her response was âNot anymore. We stopped that this morning.â Her tone of voice did not seem kind. More of an abrupt tone. I said âThis morning!? Are you serious!?â She said âYes! Weâve had to send away a lot of people today.â I said âYou guys really need to have the times on your website, so people wonât waste their time coming out here. I drove all the way from Pasadena.â She never apologized (like most people do). This female wouldnât make eye contact with me either when she was talking to me. To the owner; How can your business open up in the morning and stop serving in the morning? You arenât showing Veterans that you really care. You also need to teach your workers how to greet their customers and show respect.
So disappointed in this restaurant. I can see why there werenât any customers. You need to go tho the Fire House Subs in Katy on Westgreen and see how a restaurant is operated. That place...
Read moreOrdered through the drive through and the employee told me to look at the menu when i asked what came with the meal. Got to the window to get my order and employee dropped my card before i even reached out for it and it fell under my truck. She said she would get someone to come out and get it as i could not get out with out pulling up and there was a long line of customers behind me. Someone would have drove over my card. The guy who came out got me my card and she said i should have gotten out of my truck to get it myself and she slammed the service window shut and would not come back to the window. She dropped the card. She should be fired on the spot. As i am seeing many complaints about bad customer service and rude employees and the owner seems to respond to all of them yet also seems nothing is being done. Sad that being short staffed and lack of finding good employees results in this kind of service. The owner should at least have a manager that can handle these issues and would not doubt if this employee is the manager. My advise is do not go to this location and the sad thing is because of lack of good management/ownwership the firefighters are the ones that...
