Had to write about Catwalk Studio Hair Design, this is a magnificent place! This salon would sit well in any city anywhere! First of all they are so friendly, a rare commodity nowadays, the five star ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ claim really reflects the quality of the salon, the staff, and the service(s), serious PROFESSIONALS!
I had called to see if I could schedule a haircut for my wife and the receptionist Kindly fit her in the same day no problem, on a SATURDAY AMAZING! I asked for a price estimate, very reasonable prices. 👍 Ergo, I inquired if they cut MEN'S hair as well, and yes they do, ALRIGHT! 👍 So we schedule haircuts for two with designer Sophia.
The salon was busy and buzzing when we walked in (always a great sign). Immediately, we were greeted and checked in. Soon enough we were getting haircuts (my wife first and I second). We both received haircuts from designer Sophia 👍 who went well above par in service and professionalism, definitely exceeding our expectations. Sophia knows what she's doing, an amazingly skilled hair designer, great listener an expert in her craft, impressively outstanding! 👍 I admittedly am a picky MAN. I pay attention to details, I will definitely book again with designer Sophia! At Catwalk Studio Hair Design.
p.s We honestly experienced the WOW factor! which is what made me write this, as I don't normally bother doing so. Thank you,...
Read moreThe more I think about this, the more mad I am. I have been to this salon before and had a good result—but it wasn’t the result I asked for. I forgave it in the past because it still looked nice. I shouldn’t have come back and I never will again. I had a balayage that I said I would like toned and I also wanted to add some face-framing highlights. It was suggested to use permanent color to tone my balayage and I agreed to it. And then she starts applying a level 7 to my level 5 hair…ON MY SCALP. I say I want to retain my current level. She assures me it will not lift because it is only 10 volume. This would be true if she was applying it on color treated hair but not my virgin regrowth. Boom! Orange roots. Then she leaves the actual toner on my new highlights all of about a minute so they are BRIGHT YELLOW. Of course, the salon is so dark that it is impossible to tell how bad everything is until you get into decent lighting. The second I looked at my hair in the car mirror, I could have cried. In addition to this, the cut was bad. Shorter than what I asked for and an inch longer on my left side. I would never allow someone who’s ruined my hair to enough “fix” it, so I went to Sally’s and just colored over the whole mess. Now I’m out $300+ a 25% tip. Do not trust the lighting in that salon! Worst salon...
Read moreSara is a good stylist that does take the time and effort to explain the color for you and how it will pull/show on your hair. I appreciate the education on coloring my hair when I go. I moved from Phoenix to Olympia and I started to come here because they were still listed as a redken salon but the owner told me they were not anymore and had a different color brand, which is fine because the color I had was comparable to my old salon. The only issue I have with this place is it’s over $250-300 every time you come in it seems like. I went in, just to get my roots, deep conditioned, cut and toner (I did purchase a $30 dollar hair oil too) and walked out paying $300+ dollars but I guess that was my mistake for not asking for the full cost upfront. I am used to other salons giving you a cost breakdown before just doing things but whatever. I just thought that toner, hair cut, deep condition would be under $300 something but that could just be inflation or the cost of doing hair these days. I do think the cost is high here but they do have competent hair stylists and they do try to give you what you pay for. I would recommend this hair salon over any other in...
