I just want to say that “The Lacey Makers Space” was one of the most positive experiences I have had. I went in for the first time for my 3D printer. I originally took it somewhere up north to get it looked at & come to find out they made my issue worse. So, after a lot of web searches I found that LMS, had a 3D printer fix it workshop. At this point I thought it couldn’t hurt to go, while maybe learning something. Well, I am so grateful that I did! I worked with Ian, & some of the other volunteers. They were able to not only fix my issue BUT, the issue the “fix it” guy up north had messed up. I learned a lot! I also learned about other programs they have available. I got a tour of the makers space & it’s amazing! It’s safe to say I am going to become one of their newest members! So happy I came here! I will be recommending this to...

Might still be useful place for done folks with zero shop skills or knowledge to get a start ...at gettingvtech and shop exposure ...but suspect most businesses are better off just putting them money into their own tools ....
The 300 buck fee fie students or 500 fee fir others ... is a steep barrier to entry
Reading the website... we decided we are better off buying our own shop gear ...if we have 7 occassiibal.users ...7 x 500 is 3500 ...that will buy nice welder and used 3d printer ...and drill...
Read moreI had a display stand made here the staff was very friendly and well educated on creating props like the one I needed, Emily also communicated with me and let me know the status of my stand throughout the week. It’s a work shop so they encourage creatives to stay and learn the crafts/services they provide. A good investment, check them out whenever you need something made for a project or to learn a new craft...
