Kohl's — Local services in Lafayette

"BAD" customer service (Beth) Ordered online - received a damaged product. Took the product back to Lafayette store where i met Beth at the customer service desk. She told me that there is nothing that she can do about it other than taking the product back. Before agreeing to the return i asked her to make sure that the discount code used $10 off 50 (household) is not taken off .. but ok to take the 30% off coupon. Was told that 30% will be taken off but not the $10 ... she processed the return with returning only $11 and few cents back. I went back to the customer service desk to see that if i am only getting few dollars back when its not my fault (damaged product) i would keep the product if they have it in store. Beth tells me that I will have to go back to the dept to check it out if hey have it or not. .... I requested Beth to check if they have the product in store by checking the SKU # .. was told that i will have to go back and check it out myself (UNTRUE) ...... I went back to the dept to check where the product was not there ... came back and i was told that i can now order the product again with 20% off which is there online (instead of 30% plus $10 off) and cannot help with anything else ... Had to talk to Store manager Julie (who was very helpful) who checked online that they did not have the product and went back to check and helped out with adjusting the price .... I would say that Beth was NOT at all helpful ... Rather she was Rude and i do not believe that she would have behaved this way (lied to me) if i was a caucasian ... Did talk to Julie (who was very helpful) that Beth should have NOT lied to me about her not able to check if they have the product in store ... "Bad experience...hope no one has such experience with Bad...

Display of Nike shirts advertised originally $30 now $21. At check out it rang up $30. I politely questioned the price and the associate said that was for the large logo shirts not the small logo, I asked why would you put all the shirts in the same display if one was not on sale? The associate then asked a supervisor that was nearby by if the sale was for only the large logo and the supervisor said yes. I then asked the supervisor the same question why display two different items on the display if one isn’t on sale. She rudely told me that one shirt is called essential and the other called logo and to read the sign on the display. The shirts are not marked essential vs large logo. Supervisor was absolutely rude and did not offer explaining the difference as they both had logos on the T shirts. She then told the other associate she was leaving and hope his day gets better, like she was referring to me questioning the items difference. I am not sure how this supervisor got her position because she definitely was not a public figure I would want to represent to my customers. The items should not be displayed together putting out false advertising and customers service reps should be more considerate to customers. Good help is...

I've only been there a handful of times in the past couple of years. I've been followed by the black female security guard and female store manager. I'm a senior citizen that has never stole anything from any store in my life. Probably not going to be returning because it made me feel uncomfortable. No wonder this store never has any customers. The other thing is it's not a good place for a man to shop. This store is mainly for Woman. I bought a pair of addidas running shoes and they were coming unglued were the sole is glued to the fabric. The bottom of the shoe was in good condition along with the fabric and the inside of the shoe. I bought a pair of addidas slides recently and they were expensive and they fell apart after a month. I bought them at addidas.com and they didn't give me my money back at least I got my money back from kohls but won't be buying any more addidas footwear. I'm updating my review. I was entering the mall parking lot. The store manager drove her car right by my car and was staring at me. She followed me into the store and then followed me around the store.
