Sagamore at 26 Shopping Center — Local services in Lafayette

I really hate to mention this about the JoAnn's fabric store in this shopping area (unfortunately this issue is chain wide). But this has been a long standing irritation that apparently the corporate entity regulates. The temperature in the store is unbearably warm. Even in the winter they have the doors open to cool the store off, and the employees have to put fans behind the counters to stay cool. Granted I am one that gets hot easily but I can just sit at the pattern table and start sweating. I've been told that corporate won't let them keep it any cooler than 75° if I remember correctly. Spent hours ordering shower doors surround and basin. Paid with my own credit card. Ordered over a week later vanity mirror toilet. They called a week later come get your order. Go their don't have any shower pieces 1st thing I need. Inquire where are they. Order canceled. Why say my credit card. Go home call my card they approved. Called store got manager for answers. Told me probably 7 dollars to much to go thru their system. Never got notified it was canceled, can't comp me anything, can't expedite shipment. Plus can't get any earlier than June 20th. Bull. Great selection, decent prices l, and a clean store. The only problem I have, is twice in a row I have been here looking for specific tools and been told by employees that they don't have it only to find it myself. The first one was an installation kit for laminate flooring and the second was a siphon or transfer pump. Found both items on my own by looking around after being told they didn't carry them or only had them online. So the only bad thing I can say is they just need to work on their sales skills a little more. But still a good store for all of...
