I liked the old store and always had very positive experiences there. I recently had my second child and a month before that bought clothing at second glance anticipating that I would retain some of my pregnancy weight, in fact, one of the employees joked that if they didn't fit I could sell them back! A month later I ended up Ill and had surgery which resulted in unexpected weight loss and I was not able to wear the clothing I purchased. Today I decided to sell back those items. From the moment I entered the store I noticed an unfriendly attitude from every employee. I was checked in and told nothing about deals although others were, I only mention this because having past retail experience has taught me it tends to make a customer feel excluded or singled out. I was not told how long I could expect to wait, after browsing for an hour I went to inquire on the status of my items and was very coldly informed that they would not be taking any of my items because they do not accept juniors brands. I am 33 years old and most assuredly do not shop in the juniors section. Furthermore, my neatly folded items were wadded up and shoved in the bag haphazardly. Upon taking note of the ticket attached, the time there indicated that they had finished with my order about 15 minutes after my initial entry of the store. It would have been nice to be informed upon completion. I am curious and slightly confused as to why items I purchased from the store and had retained in the condition they were purchased were now refused. I also want to make note that I could have went to the racks and pulled brands identical to the ones I was attempting to sell so the explanation given for the refusal of my clothing has me puzzled to say the least. Lastly, upon mentioning my concerns I was simply told, "I'm not the one who went through them so I don't know." For these reasons I will not be returning to the store and will not recommend others do so. Extremely disappointed in my...
Read moreI have been going to simply chic when it was first second glance. I have bought tons of stuff there and have sold tons of stuff there. Saturday I took items in and picked them up and I was looking at the ticket like I always do and I was talking to myself and the young girl kept saying I can go get the manager and I said no I'm fine and I went back to looking and i said tory birch shies fir 20.00 wow and she said I'll go get the manager and I said no you don't need to but off she went. Sally comes out and we have always been friendly with each other and I have always been friendly with all them and she shocked me . She said I'm going to remind my offer and I looked at her puzzled and said I'm taking it and she preceded to say I'm not going to allow you to sell here anymore and I said what why and she said you are just a pain. I'm like what how am I a pain. She said you don't listen and I'm like thinking to myself listen to what. Anyway she paid me I left and later I called her and I said if I did or said anything inappropriate I apologize but I didn't think I had. I'm on a lot of pain medication and have been for quite some time. I said I don't always remember things on this medication but I just wanted to let you know I'm sorry if I did something. She said she appreciated that but I still am confused about the whole situation. The girl was mumbling something about the lv I brought in and said they couldn't find the date code. I told her it was on the card in the bag. She said we couldn't find it and I said well it was in there and that was it. So I can't understand how I have been buying and selling there for years and all of a sudden I'm told I can't sell there any more when I didn't do anything. I'm very confused about this. It makes no sense . I just can't...
Read moreThey have a huge selection of clothes and is pretty well organized. Their loyalty program is pretty good and you get a $10 coupon for signing up. Like most thrift stores they are quite picky about what they buy so I wouldn’t expect much if you’re trying to sell. The only complaint is that they’re a little on the expensive side for used clothes. Slightly more expensive than Plato’s closet and probably double what you’d pay at goodwill. But I guess that’s the price of not having to sort through garbage for hours 🤷🏻♀️ overall...
