This is an assembly line type of pizza place where they build the pizza in front of you and it takes about five minutes to bake. For just under $8 you get an 11 inch pizza with one meat choice and unlimited veggie choices. Extra meats are $1 each. Staff is friendly and it doesn't take long to get your pizza. The chocolate chunk cookies are really good, but small for 50 cents. They store them on top of the oven, so they are always hot. The location is a cluster, unfortunately, and very difficult to get to off SR26. The drive is in the front, and you have to immediately cross three lanes of traffic (one left turn, one straight, and one right turn) stopped at the light. It required us to drive down Farabee and turn around in a parking lot and approach from the south. The construction adds to this headache as the intersection is abnormally busy due to the construction. As for comparison to other chains, similar to Pie Five in quality, but not as good a Milestone Pizza which all have a similar assembly line pizza system. What puts Milestone over the top is they hand press the dough on the spot, and you have unlimited choices of meats with no upcharge. Azzip satisfies, but charging for the extra meats doesn't place it top of the class in the assembly line pizza...
Read moreThe pizza does taste good, and the flavors are unique. We also like the options for people who have dairy allergies as that is not an easy one to find.
A few things that lowered my rating would be the online order stated my food would be done in approximately an hour. I arrived right when it should be done, and it was pulled from a warming area, but it was congealed cheese that had been sitting for quite awhile. Nothing I can’t reheat, but it would be nice to have better expectations of your order done time or have the food made way closer to your pickup.
Also, the people working ignored that I had kids meals and had paid for the dust/hot honey combo. I had to wait even longer for someone to grab the cups and the stuff after telling them I had paid for it. For a 70 dollar order and boxes with multiple receipts on them, I do wish I could expect to not have to remind a location of what I ordered.
Getting home, we realized our sauce for the garlic sticks and the pepper flakes on the side that we ordered were missing as well.
Overall, the food is good, I would just go in to order since the pizzas don’t seem to take...
Read moreI rarely review places, but this place needs a review.
Every superlative you could imagine would fall flat. Their pizzas are that good. Partly because you're getting the exact pizza you want since you can customize it to no end, and partly because their ingredients are that good.
What made me write this review though, was the flavor of this month, the Butter Believe It pizza. It's essentially a Butter Chicken Pizza, which might seem sacrilegious to many but literally every pizza place in Mumbai that I frequent sells their version of this, and this could easily go toe to toe with any of those. I found out about this pizza on the 21st of December, and have had it at least 4 times since (writing this review on the 30th) and fully intend on going again and buying extras because I rue the day this goes out of circulation.
(Please consider making it a permanent addition. The mango chutney also was surprisingly good. Normally that doesn't go with butter chicken, but I got it on the side and was using it as a dip to pick my bites, and ran out of the sauce with 3 pieces of...
