Giving him the benefit of the doubt, we started browsing the selection. He immediately attends to the only other customer (spoiler alert: he was white) and asks him if he has any help. We were there for about 15 minutes and not a single word to us, just continued glares when we briefly met eye contact. As I entered this store, I accidently dropped a very real looking, fake 100 bill, just outside the door. There was an employee standing near the door, having a smoke. My girlfriend was in the car. She could see that the smoking man saw the drop. He moved closer to get a better look, but didn't pick it up. He watched me until I came out and got back in my car. He didn't mention the "money", or ask any questions. He picked up the imposter and went inside. He called over his coworker to show it to him. They looked at it together. I always try and support Lago Vista businesses, but I have had to stop going to this liquor store. I would usually switch between Lakeside and Lago Liquor to support both businesses, but I've been into Lakeside twice with the gentleman who runs the cash register (maybe the owner?) without a mask. He use to at least put one on when you entered, but he hasn't even done that my last two visits. Today when I entered he didn't have a mask and was not practicing social distancing at all.
