Because of the virus, all Illinois hair salons are closed. At that time I went to Texas with my friend. I decided to take this opportunity to cut my hair because my hair was far from my standards. My style is the so-called flat top. I wasn't sure if the hairstylist from the salon could handle my request, but I was very pleasantly surprised when it turned out that she was much more talented than my permanent hairstylist back home. I've tried to give this place a chance, but ultimately I think need to stop coming here. My main reason is that the clippers the older woman uses hurt, they scratch me and leave me in pain for several hours after (see picture). Not only that, but they are incredibly loud, especially when she's trimming around the ear. Trimmers shouldn't be that loud, so she needs to buy new ones or fix the ones she has because at this point she's hurting her customers.

The only positive experience I had is they returned a hat I forgot there once, and the younger girl does a better job. I don't know...

I like the haircuts and my wife asked me to leave the other place that I had to use during the pandemic and return to Vista Family Salon. The ladies here don't talk much but they clearly try not to keep customers waiting and they get the job done.
