Lakeside Subs + Bagels — Restaurant in Lago Vista

Charlotte Banasik here...I am not one to write reviews but I am happy to write this one. A few weeks ago I took home sub sandwiches from Lakeside Subs in Lago Vista. I have had many meatball subs in the past but the one I had from Lakeside Subs was the best ever. It overflowed with scrumptious meatballs, was so fresh & flavorful. While eating I heard my hubby talking about how fresh his sandwich was & the amount of meat on his sub. I should mention here that the meat is sliced as you place your order (impressive). Both of us got 2 meals each from the large sandwiches.This young couple is doing an excellent job & their staff are all amazing. I can't wait till their new venture, The Burger Bar, opens. Good Luck Drew & Hannah! On a side note, I received a very large piece of meat that I was unable to handle in my small kitchen. I contacted Hannah & she agreed to help me out. Lakeside Subs never disappoints! The sandwiches are always fresh and so delicious, but what really stood out was the service. I came in needing to order for several of my team members at Lantz Home Services in town. We all voted Lakeside subs. I had a list of orders and asked to place them all at once. Without hesitation, Marissa jumped in and got everything started, making the process and payment simple and stress-free. She was so kind, helpful, and attentive—it truly made the experience even better.

Management is so stupid. The sandwiches are great, but the workers look miserable and they literally won't make you a sandwich if it's before 10:30. Not for any reason, they have everything there, sliced, baked, and ready; but they'll look you in the face and tell you they won't put meat on a piece of bread until 10:30 even though they have no customers. Dumbest policies I've ever had to deal with to get a goddamn sandwich. The owners need to get their head out the sand
