IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO I WOULD. First and foremost, I have been coming to the store for years. I came in the store on 6/27, I did some grocery shopping. I bought some whole wings, I took them out of the fridge this morning to wash and season them. The smell that came from the chicken literally beyond grotesque to the point my daughter came out of her room and asked what that smell was🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮. So I drove over 25 minutes to bring the chicken back to the store to exchange it. I tell CSR what happened, she smells the chicken and she tells me that I can get another pack, ok no problem. I get back to register and she proceeds to tell me that I have to pay the difference in the price of the chicken which was .97$. I asked her why did I have to pay the difference when they sold me spoiled chicken, I drove for over 25 minutes to bring it back, being inconvenienced AH, and I have to pay the difference. She calls the store manager and he says the same thing. I said the same thing to the manger, and he proceeds to tell me that's the store policy, so I asked was it store policy to sell spoiled meat to their customers? He didnt say anything he just looked at me, smh. I asked for a refund of my money. This girl gives me the money back, I looked at the manager and csr and smiled. I asked them did this make sense to them you're losing a sale over .97$? They both looked at me with blank faces. I took the money and left. I would love for the store manager/owner to reply to my review. THEY JUST LOST ME AND MY WHOLE FAMILY AS...
Read moreToday was an eye opener for me I was at this market today I was trying to buy some fish .And I was the only person of color at the counter and the store employee are 99% Spanish people and I was shocked on the treatment that I received today. The two men that were working in the sea food area didn’t help me they let me stand at that counter for 20 minutes cause I was being looked over. And they had no other customers I was the only one. They talked to each other never once asked me or came over to help so today I see how it feels to be treated with no respect no humanity over looked. I spoke to customer service and she apologized to me but she was a Spanish woman and there was nothing she could really do. But that’s kind of funny that a certain race of people feel like it’s ok to treat other people of a different culture and race like that. I have been going to this market for over 7 years but today will be my last time. I’m not going to spend my money anywhere I’m not wanted or respected I know now first hand how people think they are better than you cause of there race and your race. Some races of people have been told a lie and they think that a certain race of people’s like them better than others and they are foolish cause they don’t like...
Read moreIf I can give them a -star I would. I just experienced my very first racism from a Hispanic young lady, the young lady job was to tell everyone the store wasn't accepting EBT today. She made it her business to tell every black American person that walk in in front of me including me the message, she most definitely didn't tell the Hispanic women in front of me and the Asian women next to me but she made sure to tell me that they was accepting EBT. I ask to speak with a manager of course conveniently wasn't in the store and so I told a Customer Service person that was on the other side of the store.Customer Service lady said they have been watching her and she did no such thing 🤔 that's why I wanted to speak with the store manager. So dont waste your money with ignorance, there is another Asian market is lease than 2 miles away. I know I will not waste my hard earned money from my work with a racists store like this. And by the way I had on hospital scrubs so don't and never had EBT........ racism still exists with Black Americans...
