I went here with a friend of mine for both our first time.
I got Lavender tea: 4/5 stars. The lavender milk tea itself was very good. The boba/tapioca was on point. The grass jelly is nice. I did not like that there was loose-leaf/loose lavender flowers in it though. It gave every sip a weird gritty texture and you think you're enjoying the aroma and sweetness, then you chew some bitter lavender tea leaves/flowers which REALLY throws me off every sip. If I could somehow strain that out, I would. They have great sizes for the price.
0/5 Stars. My friend WANTED Vietnamese coffee. I'm Vietnamese, so I do know how it's normally made. She wanted them to omit the condensed milk though, because she didn't want it to be sweetened, but still wanted the strong coffee and flavor, and even asked about milk or creamer being added in its place. One of the guys working there said they couldn't change the recipe and leave out the condensed milk......which makes no sense, since you're technically saving money by leaving our an ingredient and she would've paid the same cost. What do you do if a customer wants Vietnamese coffee, but is diabetic?? Tell them they can't have it? Ca phe sua da is one thing, but if you're only going to call it Vietnamese coffee on the menu, that's misleading to others who aren't familiar with Vietnamese coffee. I mostly still don't understand why keeping everything else in it, but leaving out the condensed milk is such a hassle unless you're OCD and mentally can't make it without adding the sweetened condensed milk.
4/5 stars, the place was nice. It seemed to have maybe no overhead light on, so the ambience mostly felt relaxing. We enjoyed the couch seating tucked away in the back. For some reason Christmas stuff is still out even though it's 3 weeks from St Patrick's Day and spring.
4/5 I got the Korean chicken rice bowl. I wish they put a bit more rice in it. Other than that, it's pretty good as a snack.
Overall 3/5: I at least enjoy the flavor of their lavender milk tea, but may not get it again if they keep loose tea in my drink order. I want to try rose milk tea next, but I can't recommend this place to anyone who isn't already familiarized with Asian bubble tea and other drinks here. So that's kind of sad. My rating is...
Read moreWhat's better than the original? Nothing!!! Come and try out the original bubble milk tea maker, Quickly!! A tasty assortment of delicious treats such as the sweet Egg Puff reminiscence of a waffle turned into bubble wrap!! Another favorite of mine is the popcorn chicken, with its generous sizing, available in mild or spicy flavor. Other items such as Rice bowl, flavored wings and mochi waffles mean you will not leave Quickly hungry. Now on to the huge assortment of drinks such as the slush, boba latte, flavored teas, snow, and of course the milk tea which is what they're most known for. And let's not forget their unique specials such as the avocado smoothie or the dark Vietnamese coffee!! All of these amazing things are reasonably priced and in a location which is definitely Instaworthy with several places for great photographs. Trust me you will not be disappointed if you choose to grab a snack and...
