Goodwill Southern California Store & Donation Center — Local services in Lake Elsinore

I have enjoyed visiting this goodwill in lake Elsinore CA for over 10+ years and I understand making a little extra money but this is out of hand all the mens T- shirts are $4.99 so basically they are all equal value and some stained some have stretched out necks a couple have holes I was just there I picked up a package and noticed a woman's bikini prices at 20$ and by looking at package it was a temu style ziplock bag and the price could not have been over 6$ on temu for that item there were a pair of shoes with no price tag so I went and asked manager to get price and young man that was manager and another employee made up a price in middie of isle for 25$ because he said they were new I checked on the running shoes priced them from a pic I took of them and new the shoes were 13.99$ I'm disappointed what happened to goodwill prices who is trying to get rich and by looking and reading reviews it is obvious I'm not the only shopper that is noticing and complaining and when you ask for donation from a shoppers purchase doesn't the donated money go to a special box or can or? But it does not go into the same cash register how would you know what was donated to charity and these are peoples donations nothing in this store should be priced over 15$ I don't care what it's worth it was donated for free free you see I happen to know a friend and his dad eats lunch with owner and the owner brags on how much $ he makes and donations are non taxable so what gives why...

My husband and I went to donate a perfectly good couch and 2 solid wood end tables with coffee table to goodwill. We went at 6pm a hour before closing. The manager Richard came out the back of the building. The manager threatened us telling us to come back during busy hours. Hello, we were there during business hours. They don’t close until 7 pm. He told us I put the stuff back into our truck and bring it back tomorrow morning My husband and I both work. He then said he would call the police and we would be fined 1000 dollars if we didn’t , he said they have a camera and would take the license plate down , call the police and we would be fined. All because we were trying to do a good thing and donate , we will put it out on our curb and someone will take the items. Richard should be reprimanded for the way he speaks to people who are trying to donate nice items. We got a sectional and new tables to fit our extended family. The couch not the tables were...

I always enjoy browsing through thrift stores. Goodwill always has an interesting selection of second hand items. My latest purchase was an office chair. It is in good condition and I only paid $8.50 for it. I have been using it at my desk and it works quite well. Goodwill has a color of the day and that color is half off. They also have a selection of Halloween items if you are interested. Goodwill is a good place to purchase clothing and shoes. With a little perseverance, you can find some pretty good bargains for these items. They also have an electronics department with a variety of used radios, lamps, VCRs, headphones, DVD players, coffee pots and other useful things. It is always an adventure shopping at Goodwill.
