Please do not go here. I’ve had a horrible experience every time I’ve had to deal with this office. I am now changing my primary after my most recent experience. Hopefully my experience saves you from going through something similar!

Yesterday, I went to the ER after an accident that caused extreme leg pain. X-rays were done and I was told I broke my Tibia and to contact my primary and be seen by an Orthopedic. I called my Primary Offie at Lake Elsinore Family Clinic to see if a referral was necessary. The receptionist told me there was a cancellation the following day, And they didn’t have any more appts until the 20th, which is 10 days away.. I asked her if I could do a phone appt, as I have a freshly broken Right leg, am 8 months pregnant and am not on pain medication. Mind you I cannot even get up to use the restroom, the pain is so extreme. She told me they were all out of phone appts, I would need to come in, (even tho they already have X Rays on file from the ER) and have my primary doctor retake X rays for a referral... She would not let me speak to a manager, said they were all busy. I was left with absolutely no help, a next morning appt to have my primary doctor tell me the same thing ER has told me, and no referral...

Later I called my insurance provider, who was wonderful, and gave me a number to an orthopedic, said that I would not even need a referral or need to see my primary because the injury was so recent and I already had x rays. They filed a formal complaint against the receptionist at my doctors office for me.

I called the Orthopedic and they got me Set up to be seen the next day to further assess if I will need surgery.

If you ever really need help, or need to use health insurance, I would not recommend this place. I don't even know how you could treat another human...

Two words: Negligence and malpractice. Dr. Amoo dismissed all my concerns, giggled when I asked her what I should do since she refused to do tests and had no answers and then proceeded to tell me the only thing she could do was refer me to psych. Said I must have anxiety, I said no. She said okay then you have depression....no again. Sad to see doctors dismiss health concerns as anxiety/depression even with a current diagnosis and lab tests through a different doctor that all read "abnormal". (which Dr. Amoo reviewed with me and told me everything looked perfect. I later found out through another doctor that my labs were not normal) Also the nurses never took my full set of vitals and then wrote fake ones on my paperwork and when I confronted them they said "its okay because you feel good". I did not feel good, and had been having serious health issues for the past three months thats why I was there. They don't take health concerns seriously, don't come here.

To give credit where its do: Dr. Lawrence Gates was the best doctor I have ever seen and he is here at the express care only. He actually listened to my concerns, reviewed my medical history, asked me my symptoms, and proceeded to do physical tests on me and ordered tests too. He was amazing, I wish he had his own practice. First praise where praise is due: For 2 years I had a wonderful Dr. (Obiocha) here, very thorough and his dx was spot on, evidenced by appropriate tests, imaging, and ruling out other possibilities. He referred me to specialists and needed services regularly. Unfortunately he was suddenly ‘no longer there.’ I literally cried. Then I’m placed with Dr.Hao. he was so incredibly rude! I’ve been somewhat of a medical hell and first off, he expresses contempt of me, won’t honor the refill my previous Dr. gave me, and It’s unfortunate, but this Dr really traumatized me! They mess up and force you to have another appointment. Then when you explain how the last referral was incomplete and how additionally, they billed for a service/screening not performed, you get a permanent record that says this by Dr. Hao patient overuse medical services. Patient like to complain, and Patient don’t like her screening score ‘ (regarding the screening not performed!). Wow! Just...
