Boy if you come here, you better be VERY careful with employees Vanessa and Sabrina!! They were the most aggressive and unprofessional fast food employees I have ever had the misfortune of interacting with. Don't even think of requesting anything! My polite and simple inquiry somehow turned into a yelling confrontation because they felt bothered, decided to gang up on me. I've worked retail before, never in my life would I DARE speak to a customer the way they have just spoken/ treated me.
Keep in mind, this was during tonight's late night drive thru when no one else was around to hear. I was treated DISGUSTINGLY, those two responded to whatever I said by yelling/ practically SCREAMING at me through the window.
My requests: asked if they could honor an app coupon since this location is STILL not on the app, the other request was for my order to be made fresh if possible. I mentioned that it was different every time I came; some employees were willing to honor a coupon, and these two weren't. She demanded that I tell her which employees honored it for me, I said I don't know. This bothered me because she was trying to use me to get other employees in trouble since they supposedly weren't allowed to honor coupons, and I knew she could tell that this bothered me. It's not my responsibility to keep their employees in check
Apparently, POLITELY asking anything of them or pointing out anything, warrants a response with a limitless amount of attitude and abhorrent behavior bc THEY FEEL LIKE IT. Their demeanor very well shows they were happily EMBOLDENED to act this way.
When I requested the order to be made fresh when I was at the window, Vanessa literally SNAPPED at me saying with a condescending/ ARGUMENTATIVE tone "umm we HAVE to make it fresh!!! That would be stupid not to because then food gets wasted!!!" Giving me a nasty look, she then leaves to go prepare my food leaving the drive thru window open.
I sat there for 5 minutes waiting for my food, LISTENING TO THEM MOCK ME THE ENTIRE TIME. They were mocking what I requested, and making obnoxious gagging and coughing noises at the fact they had to make something fresh.
I watch Vanessa grab a cup and RUN outside into the parking lot, around the side of the building. She then comes running back inside the store to the kitchen smiling, laughter ensues. She returns back into sight and chucks the cup against the counter where they fill up your drinks. It was painfully obvious they were trying to pull something sketchy with my food.
They thought I couldn't hear them because I originally had music playing, but turned it down to be sure I wasn't imagining what I was hearing, because this definitely could NOT be real life.
I heard everything and I feel sick to my stomach. I don't care what it is that you request, it's absolutely unacceptable to be treated this way just because they felt bothered by it. I did nothing that warranted this amount of disrespect, except simply being a customer there.
Sabrina is the one that hands me my food, and I had to confront her about what I heard and stick up for myself, and their only response was to start a YELLING confrontation with me. They knew they were in the wrong: Sabrina wouldn't give me the store number OR her name at first, and I didn't leave until I got her name.
Now chimes in Vanessa. They were extremely AGGRESSIVE and unprofessional, standing there verbally ATTACKING/ bullying me because they didn't like my requests, and according to them I "was the one with the attitude so they were able to act that way". HA!!! Absolutely amazing, I am speechless. I have it all recorded and will be sending our interaction to corporate. Their screaming response? "What do you think you're gonna do?! Go ahead tell the manager! There's only 2 people that work graveyard (them), and they'll know our names!"
I'm SICKENED by how I was just treated, their behavior was ABHORRENT for no good reason. I feel sick to my stomach, I'm shaken, and this food is going straight into the trash. There's no doubt in my mind that they...
Read moreI visited the Jack-in-the-Box on Lakeshore and had a disappointing experience. I arrived around 5:40 PM, opted to go inside instead of the long drive-through line, and waited at the counter for about four minutes without being greeted, despite making eye contact with no less than three staff. I eventually realized I had to use the touchscreen to order, but no one informed me of this. After placing And paying for my order, I was informed the milkshake machine was not working, but would be up and running in five to possibly 10 minutes. Since I had two kids and my mother in the car, I was hesitant to wait beyond five minutes, but was hopeful that the machine could be up and running by then. The machine ended up taking the full 10 minutes and when I finally got my order, the fries were cold by the time I reached my car. Overall, the service was poor, and the staff seemed indifferent to customer satisfaction.
The experience could’ve been better by: -Greeting me as I walked in and directing me to the touchscreen to place my order that would’ve saved a ton of time. NO ONE SAID A WORD. -Being agreeable to store, credit or refund, which is what I suggested after learning that the milkshake machine was not working. -Having a shift lead who apathetic and actually cares and doesn’t turn their back to the customer when something isn't...
Read moreI had the Spicy Chicken sandwich meal and a side of Jalapeño poppers. After I paid, the lady asked me to pull out front and she would bring me my meal. That timer they're on really shows when they don't want you sitting in the drive thru for more than a minute. In any case, the food was good and hot. I was excited when I saw the size of the container, the chicken sandwich was in, and assumed it was this monster sandwich like the pictures show. We'll, the joke was on me, that wasn't the case at all. Huge container and a small sandwich. I like going to this place because normally, you'll get the food fresh. I don't mind waiting at all for a piping hot fresh meal. I really dislike these shrinkflation times where the prices go up, and the product gets smaller. I'll still continue to support Jack, but hope the sizes go back to how...
