I dropped off a $300 CLARISONIC FACIAL BRUSH AND A COMPRESSOR and NO ONE ever called. They have done repairs for me before and never had an issue, except for it takes a long time for them to repair...I’m ok with that as long as it comes back repaired. They never called me (and I’m meticulous about things) about the brush and after 3 months when my partner called about his compressor they never mentioned my brush, just that they needed a part for the compressor. I didn’t think twice that maybe they were having a hard time repairing my brush and I have used them before and trusted them. My partner finally went in there to check on things and he didn’t have the receipt-they told him they needed the receipt! I finally find the receipt for both the compressor and brush and go in there myself since we have done business before and they tell me they don’t have either and that they called.....not to mention he was so rude as if I was in the wrong and had the how dare you ask about your items attitude. Tells me he will “look” and call me. No phone call of course....-you kept both items and now want to lie about them. That is so unethical and it’s called theft-I want my items back since I could have shipped them to the manufacturer and had the brush repaired or replaced. Instead I decide to give a local small business the work and they steal from you and lie and say they called. Nooooo you didn’t. I will never be back and will tell all my clients not to go there.    Read moreToday, I took my decades-old Kitchen Aid stand mixer for a "tune-up/refresh." I am so pleased with the service and communication with this business. Several people on the Long Beach Food Scene Facebook Group recommended this business. Earlier in the week, I called them (spoke with Fred) to see if I could do a same-day service as I'm in Long Beach. Fred assured me they would be happy to do that. Also, Fred requested that I bring the bowl and flat beater so they can ensure everything is aligned property when they perform their service. When I arrived, Ron saw me right away, got my mixer checked in and advised that he would call with an estimate for the work that would need to be performed based on their analysis of my mixer. I was then able to go to the local Starbucks to work while they did their work. I received a phone call from Ron with the estimate for the work to be done. I approved the work. In a very short time, I received another call from Ron sharing that the work was complete and that I could pick up my mixer. When I returned, Ron saw me right away.    Read moreSo they have had my vacuum for about a month now. Dyson had me take it to them since its covered under warrenty. I called last week to check on it, they said they ordered a part and it would be done this week. So I call today to see if it will be done and they said it will be next week. I say well thats what you told me last week. do you even have the part? they said yes but the technician is sick. he will be in on Monday, so you are telling me you only have one technician? This is awful service and I will be telling Dyson about this too.
I'm adding an update to this review. They did a good job repairing the vacuum and were very pleasant when i picked up the appliance. But I still stand by the fact that if you have issues with getting parts or are going to have it longer than you expected please call the customer to notify them of what is going on. We shouldn't have to chase you. Its just good...
