City Maytag — Local services in Lake Havasu City

When I ordered a Refrigerator from 1000 miles away for my parents on the phone everything went smoothly, a week later when it was suppose to be delivered everything that could go wrong with a deal, DID!! I will tell you that all it took was a phone call, even after hours to the answering service and BAM! Everything that could be done to correct the problem was done with a respectable sense of urgency. My worries were resolved with intelligent decision making efforts of the owners(Tatiana) and (Danny) need to be recognized. The way my problem was handled left no stone un turned. At first, it was another three weeks, after the phone call, it was 24 hours, my parents had the right fridge and they were even given an upgraded model. Customer service does exist and it definitely exists at CITY MAYTAG!! Thank you for doing the right thing, and being one of the most reliable, honest businesses in Lake Havasu City. Bought used washer in December 2021. Unit broke at end of 30 day warranty (January 2021). They sent a nice repairman out quickly who told me the timer was broken and that he would order me a new one and that it would be covered under warranty. Never heard back from them. Called twice in January and February and both times they told me the part was ordered. They have not contacted me at all. It is now the end of April and still haven't heard from them. I checked and the part is very easily obtained. Now I have to pay someone else to fix my unit. I gave them every chance to do the right thing, and they chose not to. Don't count on them...

Don't buy any appliance from this business. Our 3 year old Maytag dryer went out and it took them 6 weeks to come look at the problem, and after a call today, won't be here for another month to fix it. The part needed to fix it was here within a week so that is not the hold up. We bought our washer/dryer from them with a promise of good service. We could have bought the same set from Lowes for less than we paid at City Maytag and serviced by Lowes within 2 weeks.
