I found the staff very rude and they pass false judgement on me . I took in a man's diamond ring with four beautiful diamond 1/4 carat diamond's 4 of them . I could tell she didn't know how to test gold or diamond's to tell if they were real or not . I wouldn't have gave them one star if I didn't have to so I could tell my experience I received . I cut a grove in the ring a 16th deep in the ring and looked at it thru my coin microscope and being that deep of a cut it was a bright gold . I tested it with vinegar and fake gold will turn green ! It didn't alter any gold color . I wouldn't buy a ring from a 25 cent gumball despencer before I bought anything from this place !!! If add photos worked I have pictures to prove what I'm saying it...

Several years ago, I purchased a beautiful ring at Diamond Dave's. I always support local businesses with my patronage and I was thrilled with my purchase. Since then, I have made several jewelry purchases from Diamond Dave's. Recently, I took the ring back to the store for an update of the appraisal and despite the fact that Dave custom designed and made this ring...I was charged $30 for the appraisal. This was most disappointing and certainly a surprise. I could understand a small fee for the paperwork, but I thought $30 for a product that originated from their shop was unwaranted. I've never been in ths business before I've drove by it a thousand times so with that said. I brought in some scrap gold which was my old wedding band and an old gold crown which was 9.1 grams not alot but i would have had some extra pocket change. The lady that helped me seemed to be kind I looked around the shop while waiting for the employee she came back with an 18 dollars per gram offer. not today Slick and I don't plan on doing business there any time soon. good day ma'am.
