Mediterranean station — Restaurant in Lake Orion

Have heard great things about this place over the years and the reviews are solid so hopefully was just an off day but was enough to never try again.

First did a quick look on google then on there facebook page. 39.99 for a 4 person combo seemed like worth trying and assuming the menu could be pre covid was prepared for it to be a little more. Total was almost 80 dollars with a large fattoush!? I could go to a real restaurant for that. I would of been ok with it if the food was to par but it was not good.

Chicken and beef shawarma was tender but dry as if kept in warmer for way to long, tasted if you were to cook in a sous vide for too long and not sear it afterward. Falafel was hard as a rock and very dry. Salad wasn't touched due to slimy cucumbers hidden throughout, lettuce looked ok.

Sam was nice and offered a new salad when I called to just make sure I heard the cashier correctly on the total. Just not worth the premium price they...

This is our go-to Mediterranean place -- super delicious! Their garlic dipping sauce is like, the best we've had so far (and since we order out every week now, we've tried a lot of mediterranean and none of them measure up)!! We love the dinner for two -- price isn't terrible and you get a lot of food. We're able to feed our two little ones and ourselves, leaving the salad we get for lunch the next day! We ALWAYS thoroughly enjoy our food from this place and have not had a bad experience yet! I want mediterranean food just thinking about it!!

If you haven't tried it yet, do it!

Only thing I'd say is that we don't like the pita bread very much but that's honestly just a preference thing...

Stopped in on my way out of town and boy am I glad I did! It’s located inside the Mobile Station so a little hard to find but worth the hunt!
