I would give them zero stars if possible and all because of one lousy clerk. I went there today to mail a greeting card. The clerk told me that because it would not bend I would have to mail it Ground Advantage (a package rate) and it would be "about $5.95". I mailed the same thing about a week prior and it was less than two dollars. He would only say, "It won't bend" and just because I paid less the last time "Doesn't make it right. I've been doing this a long time." No doubt he has. It's a government job. He couldn't get away with his sorry customer service (I use that term loosely) in a private company. I wasn't about to pay 5.95 to mail a card. I took it elsewhere where I paid the regular postage including a surcharge of 44 cents and the total was still under 2.00. I hate going here when this man is "working". He is also slow...and the last time I was there he was flirting with some woman and talking about fried chicken places, Hardees having fried pecan pies in some other city and discussing what grocery stores they have up north. etc as a line formed. He could tell I was getting impatient waiting as he continued talking. When I got to the counter he sarcastically asked me if I was okay...then proceeded to tell me that the package I was mailing was too small. He then determined that it was a commercial package and I could mail it. I've been mailing packages for a long time and have never had such horrible experience with a postal worker. Terrible location because of this man. Avoid if you don't want a hassle every...
Read moreDuring my recent visit to the local post office, I had a mixed customer service experience that I feel compelled to share. I encountered a particular issue with one staff member that left me concerned. The individual in question seemed to display a recurring pattern of being impolite and having a dismissive attitude towards customers, including myself. It is essential for any organization to address such behavior, as it can negatively impact the overall reputation and customer satisfaction. I believe that every customer deserves to be treated with respect and professionalism, regardless of the circumstances. I hope that the management of the post office takes this feedback seriously and considers providing additional training or support to their staff to ensure consistent and excellent customer service. I want to emphasize thatjust my intention is not to single out anyone but rather to highlight the importance of addressing any customer service issues that may arise within the organization. Just know it was the...
