Sepho's Halal Supermarket — Local services in Lake Ridge

I came across this Family grocery store by chance and wanted to get some dryed fruits not only did I found what I was looking for on top of that everything was of amazing quality! I got a box of Turkish dryed figgs which reminded me of backhome. Pine seeds as if they were fresh roasted pistachios of amazing taste. As I am writing this commentary, my daughter is asking me what where is the pine seeds happend to the pine seeds? Little does she know that we finished it last night while watching a bollywood movie and snacking on them. I guess we will difnatlly get some more. Not to forget the Chatatny. Yummmmy we had some tonight with dinner. Delightfull my respect and compliments go to the creater of that. 100% recommended I got the green one. They also had red chatny i gusse and i will try that next time. To sum things up basically the cleanist Asian grocery in DMV. A 2 minute gorocery turnned in to a half an hour shopping and a new discovery. Since i am a firm believer of seeing is believing I would say see it...

Our family is accustomed to going to another halal store nearby that is not nearly as clean and organized. I also noticed that the meat cutting area is much cleaner than the other shops around and the staff takes proper precaution not to contaminate the store with meat juices from their hands to bags, other products throughout the store. I also appreciate that they wear hair nets. This place is just immaculate! It feels like a luxury shopping experience, but the prices are competitive. It is beautifully decorated and the complimentary tea and coffee is a nice touch. The family who owns the store are also very kind and tried to help me entertain my crazy toddler as I tried to shop. I look forward to shopping here from now on. The ONLY recommendation I have for them is to get a few carts that have seats for small children to sit in....

I was happy to be able to make another shopping trip to Sepho's Your Halal Supermarket today. Once again I was treated to a wonderful experience. Today I purchased one pound of lamb shoulder, which was happily custom cut from a full quarter lamb. The meat was clean, fresh, sweet, and aged perfectly (dry not wet). I used it in an Algerian Lham Lahlou, with figs, prunes, apricots, walnuts, and golden raisins. Served with a side of couscous. To die for! Many thanks to the owner, Nasrat, for helping me to acquire some more obscure ingredients! Sepho's is now carrying gorgeous dry aged beef steaks!
