Bubble+Spark Photo — Local services in Lake View Township

During any photo session, I always have anxiety of how the photos will turn out. I’ll probably only like a few, I think to myself. When I saw photos from Heather from Bubble + Spark Chicago family photographers, I was blown away. They were ALL so beautifully done. The lighting, the style, the location, I wanted to buy them all. If anything I was mad that my session only included 5 photos in the package because, at my most selective, I liked about 40 of the photos. 😂 But in a perfect world, I wanted to buy them all. It was impossible to choose 5. I ended up doing my 5 digital and adding on 14 5x7 prints of the others I liked. It was my budget friendly way to get as many beautiful photos as I could. During the session itself, my son was grumpy, and it took him a long time to smile. Heather was patient and engaging with my son, trying everything to get him comfortable and to smile. I didn’t feel rushed and I felt we got so many different options of photos. I also felt she listened to my request to get single shots of my son with me and one with his dad, in addition to the standard family. We had an amazing maternity and in-home newborn session with Bubble+Spark Family Photographers for our second child. We hired one of their photographers, Heather Parker, years ago as our wedding photographer, and we were so happy to work with her again. Heather's family photography is just as beautiful and artistic as her wedding photography was. It was easy to coordinate the shoots using their online contract sign-off, as well as download all the images we wanted using secure web link. We were able to create large framed prints, announcement cards, and family gifts from them. The Bubble+Spark Family Photographers company made sure all its associates followed all of the recent COVID-19 safety precautions, including wearing a mask at all times, even during the outdoor maternity shoot. We were made very comfortable with their professionalism and kindness. For the newborn shoot they provided fun props and fresh flowers that allowed us to get some of our favorite shots. We were referred to these family photographers by the mother of one of our daughters friends who got their maternity shots and newborn photos done in September. Booking was super easy and all the information ahead of our session was very helpful. Casie arrived a few minutes early and spent some time getting to know our daughter who is almost always shy with newcomers. My husband was still getting ready while I was changing our newborn son to be ready for pictures. Casie made us feel so relaxed and the pictures felt so easy. Looking at our proofs you would never know we were up multiple times during the night or that our home looked like a tornado went through it. She is so good at finding good angles that minimize the chaos in our home and somehow we appeared well rested. We got to see dozens of pictures and it was fun picking through them.
