Fit City Kids — Attraction in Jefferson Township

We feel so lucky to have found Fit City Learn & Play Pre-K. From day one, the teachers (Mrs. Daye and Mrs. Vanessa) were incredible—warm, patient, and truly invested in each child's growth. Our son has absolutely thrived here, both socially and academically, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

One of the things that makes this program so special is the small class size. Every child gets the individual attention and support they need, and the teachers really get to know them—their personalities, strengths, and areas where they need encouragement. The mixed-age classrooms were also such a wonderful benefit. Our son learned so much from the older kids, while also gaining confidence by helping and modeling for the younger ones. It creates such a natural sense of community and cooperation and truly set him up for success at his current school.

The curriculum is hands-on and playful, which has been perfect for keeping our child engaged and excited to learn. Whether it’s art projects, sensory play, outdoor exploration, or early academic concepts woven into games and activities, the learning always feels joyful and meaningful. We’ve watched our child develop independence, creativity, problem-solving skills, and a genuine love of learning that we know will carry forward into kindergarten and beyond.

The teachers and staff go above and beyond to create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where every child can flourish. We cannot recommend Fit City Learn & Play Pre-K highly enough to any family looking for a pre-k that truly cares about children’s growth...

Just had my first experience here and it unfortunately ended pretty poorly. Kids initially were enjoying themselves; however there was a summer camp occurring while we were there. when the camp was released for open play, things got pretty chaotic and my children were knocked down and pushed off several play structures. After the 4th incident, I found a staff member standing by the outer parameter of the play area. The staff was all outside the area and watching the chaos so I asked what the situation was and how I should address it on behalf of my children . A man stepped in to talk over the female staff person I had approached and was very defensive about things being under control and also insisted it was my responsibility to intervene with the kids from camp who were knocking my children down. He then accused me of having no reason to be concerned for my kids and simply wanting argue with him. He took no responsibility for the unchecked chaos and offered no help or support in addressing the behavior with the summer campers. He was really quite rude and seemed angry that I had approached the staff for help finding a solution. He even criticized my parenting! One of the female staff he spoke over later approached to offer us a voucher to come back another time with a sincere tone but after that exchange we won’t be back. Having small children getting knocked off a beam and pushed down a slide by a group of campers shouldn’t be something I’m expected to address on behalf of...

Wow is the first thing that comes to mind after having just thrown my 4 year old a birthday party here. I had never experienced such a stress free, smooth party, and caring staff like I did at fit city kids. From the moment we arrived, the staff was walking to my car asking if I needed help coming in with the decorations. Then once settled into the party room, a group of like 4-5 employees started just helping decorating and arranging everything I had brought. It was magical seeing how quickly they got to work and such a relief because I was stressed I wouldn’t have enough time or help to get it all set up. They went over and beyond making the decorations and even food/drinks look perfectly set including adding small touches from their own supplies. Throughout the party they were so communicative, attentive, helpful, and just absolutely wonderful. They kept the party on track and even served the food and cake for me! They also captured great pictures and gave my son a goodie bag and played with him! I just couldn’t believe how great they were. Lastly, they cleaned up and even packed all the leftovers for us and put it all a cart to easily take to our vehicle. Party finished right on time and felt like such a success!
