EDIT: While I appreciate the female bartender (she was great) and the cooks who were working the day of the Champion's League final on 5/29, everything else was either a health code violation or utterly terrible. I won't bore people with anecdotes, but I'll itemize the major offenses: - dog wandering around bar without any licensing/restraint - taking chairs from patrons who told staffers more were coming - slow and negligent service and table clearing - short staffed (it's been weeks now) I live nearby. I have worked in restaurants for 4+ years. I know it's tough, but the ownership has no idea how to operate. The owner was completely rude and dismissive of customer needs. The bar back attempted sarcastic humor only to the dismay of tables. The bar had no servers on staff for the CHAMPION'S LEAGUE FINAL even though they're a soccer pub. It's embarrassing. Cahal was an amazing owner, and I wish he would come back. The workers deserve an owner with class, customer service skills, and passion. Whoever owns this place now is a complete disgrace to the hard work Cahal's family put into running this establishment. Completely awful. I'm sorry if you wanted to come here. If you do want to visit, do it on a weeknight or not during a soccer game. PREVIOUS SENTIMENTS: Incredible, local spot. Ownership recently shifted, and I haven't seen the old owners which is sad... They were really great. This bar has a nice, townie feel. Beers are good; bar food is good (they have a few vegan/vegetarian options); and they have some day to day events or specials, typically. The new ownership or bartenders (I wasn't exactly sure of their title), are exceptionally kind and knowledgeable. In the past, they were a Tottenham bar, and they showed football matches at any time of day. They also had Friday night karaoke and fish fry and amazing Saint Patrick's Day events for adults and kids along with many other events that brought the community together.

My husband & I love this bar. All of the bar tenders & staff are super friendly, competent & efficient. The food is really good & prices are reasonable. The servings are so big that always end up with meals for next day. They have a relatively recent, but experienced cook who has really improved the food in the last year, although it was always pretty good. They have specials all the time. They make typical bar food, but it's delicious. My favorite are the Irish Nachos. I don't often crave food from a bar, but I often do now. They usually have live music on weekends with great acts & have a back area for comfortable sitting during acts, or hosting parties. We go here almost every weekend. It's cozy with a big fireplace & lots of TVs for games. My favorite bar of all time.

As a massive Tottenham Hotspur supporter, I love it here at The Atlantic Bar/Grill. It’s the only location in the city dedicated to watch the Spurs on match day. I live ~30 minutes away over in West Town but I still try my best to visit during the Premier League season. My favorite thing about The Atlantic are the other Spurs supporters and especially the staff! Special shout outs to Dennis for keeping my mug full of beer and to Phil for the fantastic fish and chips when I’m hungry. Love yall! Can’t make it today for Europa, but I’ll be there next Thursday at 3:00! Come On You Spurs!!!!

I went to the Atlantic Bar and Grill for the first time with my boyfriend tonight, as we're local and pass by it all the time. Although the bar was busy when we arrived (It is St. Patrick's day, after all), we were able to get a table off to the side where there weren't many people. We placed our order at the bar for two drinks and an order of Irish Nachos (an appetizer) to split. We then proceeded to wait for our food for OVER AN HOUR. My boyfriend periodically asked the bartender about the status of our food and was told that the kitchen was very busy and that it would be out soon. When our food finally came, the nachos were room temperature/cold, very light on toppings (I swear there were only 3 tiny minced onions on the whole thing), and most importantly, lacked the ground beef that was supposed to come on the order. (We didn't even realize that the nachos were supposed to have meat until I checked the menu when we got home.) Additionally, the guy who brought our food asked my boyfriend if he wanted a refill on his drink (which he did), took the cup, and never returned with the refill. My boyfriend had to get up and go to the bar to get his drink himself. By that point, after waiting over an hour for severely lackluster food, I was quite annoyed and ready to leave. We finished our meal and drinks and left as soon as we could.

The food was definitely not worth the wait, and looked nothing like the Irish Nachos I've seen in other review pics on Google. I unfortunately didn't get a picture of them (I was already upset after the long wait) but please believe me when I say that they weren't what we expected at all. Very lackluster and sad.

I normally don't write negative reviews, and my boyfriend and I are very patient and forgiving, especially with local shops. I really wanted to love this place!!! However, this experience was completely unacceptable in my opinion, and I truly cannot recommend the Atlantic Bar and Grill to anyone after my...

Oh boy, tonight was not a good experience.

We waited an hour and 15 minutes for our single order of Irish nachos. They were lukewarm and looked nothing like the pictures in other reviews here, let alone the pics on the website. I didn't get a picture but they had almost no toppings, and NO GROUND BEEF AT ALL. Also, the person who brought our food apologized for the wait but just said "the chef is chef-ing". Does chef-ing mean goofing off?? It was kinda busy but not insanely busy (plenty of empty tables) so there was no reason for it to take so long. Also, he offered to refill my beer and then never brought it to the table, I had to go up and get it. It was literally sitting on the counter and the bartender goes "oh yeah you can have this one" like I wasn't the one who just ordered it.

We were going to hang out and keep buying drinks for hours but they seemed determined to give us a...
