Even though I live in Lakeland for 12 years, I went to B&B for the very first time last week! Let me tell you this: it was definitely my first visit of many more to come! I really enjoying sipping on the new fall drinks BUT it was the customer services that blew me away! The girls were very helpful BUT it was Jaclyn who really made my experience so much better! Jaclyn’s knowledge of their products and desire to help me to feel welcomed and valued that made the difference! She went above and beyond to help me to find THE perfect lunch for my husband and I. I told her what we enjoy eating and she recommended the perfect salad for me and the perfect sandwich for my very picky eater husband. She had a huge smile on her face the entire time and was incredibly happy to help us out! I can’t wait to go back and hopefully see her...

SPECTACULAR food, incredibly tasty drinks, wonderful service, and a charming vibe—especially out on the patio. The apple cheddar biscuit is fantastic, as is the strawberry & local honey tartine. The mac & cheese is seriously delicious, the quinoa salad is perfectly tangy, and the quiche is perhaps the best EVER ANYWHERE. Wow. Do not leave this place without eating their quiche. Even the side salad that came with the quiche was fabulous. Our only complaint: their caprese sandwich was drowning in a tasty but strongly-flavored lemon-dijon aioli that canceled out the classic flavors of mozzarella, tomato and basil. No big deal though. It was brilliant to bring such a lovely cafe to this pretty neighborhood, just a short walk from downtown. The public library is right here, and across the parking lot is the wonderful Polk Museum of Art, now with free entry.

The menu is just three sandwiches, three salads, an array of satisfying small bites, a cup-serving each.

The choices for me are satisfying enough that I can go for a nice lunch or a quick bite, and choose between big or small, sweet or savory and possibly sour too. Prices are reasonable. Coffee and rotating array of baked treats are generally appealing. I believe there are ice cream treats as well. The coffee, the espresso, is world-class. Other special coffee drinks are possible (cappuccino, latte,...
