Melvin Art Gallery — Attraction in Lakeland

This space was beautiful once. It is hard to find on Florida Southern's Campus, but then again so is everything. The Frank Lloyd Wright architecture is wonderful; however, this building is very low on the college's priority list. The ceiling was leaking in four places, the floor was damaged from those long neglected leaks, the smell of mold was noticeable, and the ac was not functioning well. It's a shame the building was being neglected because it is a beautiful space that had once been well invested in (the light racks were very top notch).
