I really would like to share this because of how upset my friends and family were because of the the party we just had for my 8 year old and 4 year olds party. We arrived at Picassoās Cup early and we set up the food and drinks. As we arrive the employee on staff was pleasant at first and explained that they did not have a party afterwards so there should not be a problem with the kids painting until the the very end of the party and if we need to go a little late it shouldnāt be a problem. So, it started off smooth and then through the middle of the party the employee started picking up pace and started telling us how much time we had left. Then she came around and started cleaning the tables and telling us that anyone that didnāt finish could come back at a later date and finish their painting. So, we continued on and had pizza for 10 mins and then cupcakes for 5 mins. Then before we could even get to the presents we were basically kicked out of the place. So both of my daughters never got to open presents in front of their guest and I had to make an announcement that we were not going to be able to open presents. Guest were upset and disappointed and so were we!!! The reason the employee said she had to make us leave was because she had to go downstairs and work at the other part of the business. When I went down to pay after I was already aggravated the employee told me that the owner charges for every minute after the time you have rented the space, which is absolutely ridiculous!! The funny part is there where hardly anyone downstairs for the employee to even help after the party! Anyways I will never rent this place again...

Pottery painting is a really enjoyable activity thatās pretty appropriate for most ages. Iāve even seen parents come in, paint their kidsā hand and then print it on the ceramic which is a super cute idea.
There are so many pottery varieties to choose from you need like 5-10 minutes just to walk around and gauge options. The prices should be written on the bottom of each piece. Itās not cheap to go to any pottery painting place so keep that in mind- once you pick out the piece and paint it how you want, they glaze and fire it for you so youāre paying for the whole service beyond just painting.
You can also create a mosaic which is a fun change up if you donāt want to paint- itās also much more forgiving if art isnāt a higher up skill of yours. They give you instructions to take home on how to apply the grout too which is helpful.
The workers have always been really nice. They now have an upstairs area too, so even if it seems busy in the main part thereās other space. And, they share a building with Tea Largo so many people get an aƧaĆ bowl or boba to enjoy while they paint. I like to stop at Pour Bear Coffee for some caffeine to bring along.
PicassoZ really is as fun as its name- itās colorful and good and inviting, and seeing the finishing product of your ceramic may be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy sister in law took us to paint our own Christmas presents and we got totally hooked! My daughters painted figurines and I did a bowl. I was so excited about the way it turned out I couldn't wait to go back! The Staff was outstanding! We met Julianne the first time who was so helpful and bright. Then I went to paint on my own and met Melanie. She was kind and a wonderful resource! Katie was amazing! Met her on my pick up day. Oh my I'm addicted to painting pottery now and I just love the space! Tea Largo has amazing Azai berry bowls and the jasmine blueberry iced tea was wow! Oh! The best part is that there is no studio fee! Your entire cost (paint, and firing) was wrapped into the price of your raw ceramic piece. Can't wait to get back to Lakeland sometime to go...
