I liked it a lot better when it was the old Bruno's. Placement of products of the Isles don't make sense to me. You have to really watch your prices some stuff way too high. The real rip off now is the tri-tip they cook on the weekend. Used to be great, starting making the cuts smaller leaving enormous chunks of fat on the meat. I used to buy one every weekend quit doing that. Nothing special about the deli, the bakery is still pretty good if you get there early and the coffee is still hot. Going to Safeway more and more now although more inconvenient with the parking be tough. Get there about 7 or 8 in the morning and it's okay. It's a well organized and friendly place to do your shopping. The deli is exceptional in it's quality of sandwich making and the prices are comparable to the area. What I do like is their rewards program, it gives me the rewards automatically that I'm due at the check out stand without me having to do anything but swipe my card. I don't have to download coupons or keep track of my points or remember to use them at the gas station. Just swipe my card and get my rewards. They have gone employee owned!
