I had a really fantastic experience here! Called ahead of time requesting information on resurfacing an old GameCube game that was erroring out upon gameplay. Received plenty of friendly service, and they happily answered all my questions. They resurfaced the game on and off for almost an hour and a half, taking extreme care not to warp the disc. It came out immaculate, and the game plays like new again, breezing past the previous error screens. A really nice mom & pop shop offering unique refurbishment services of undeniable quality at an extremely affordable price.
Some other reviewers had issues with hours, which is absolutely understandable for what appears to me to be a family run small business. They were open earlier than advertised on Google today! Be sure to call ahead if you have to make a trip and confirm they are open. If they are, I'm certain you'll receive great service. If I ever encounter this issue again on another game, I know exactly where I'll go.
Thanks again for the...
Read moreI took my son to World of Games 2.0 this past weekend looking for a copy of Fallout 4. To say I was blown away by the quality of this store is an understatement. I was impressed by the selection of games, vintage NES, Nintendo DS, Xbox, Wii, Playstation 3 and 4 and more. The amount of in box vintage games and hardware was exciting as well. The front room is small but no space is wasted as its loaded with Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, Disney's Lorcana and other TCG's as well as collector supplies. The most exciting find for me though was the second larger room in the store devoted to RPG's, arcade machines, vintage toys and sculptures as well as a huge play space for card games and tabletop gaming. The overall selection and polish of this store really impressed me and I left with a sealed copy of Fallout 4 on PS4 for less then market price! If you are a collector of vintage games or just looking for good deals on games and cards this is a must visit shop. Owner was super nice and...
Read moreAlways a breath of fresh air when a gaming store is an all around gaming store. From a PS4 bundle, all the way back to a Caleco vision bundle, and a little of everything between. Not just the super expensive hard to find, but simple exciting finds within a casual gamer budget. It has one of the most varied collection of video games in the greater metro. A wide selection of card based games (I'm not familiar with those games). And of course board games, from the newest table top games, to various collector board games. FINALLY, a game store that proudly sells the games we look for, they had the Spy vs Spy board game from the 80's. Board games from the 80's based on video games, retro games that are hard to find. It's about time a store can get on board that people do look for these kind of games. Thanks World of Games for including ALL gaming enthusiasts! We...
