A local favorite for years, this charming walk-up ice cream stand delivers delicious treats for fair prices. Open in the afternoon/evening in Spring, Summer, and Fall, it's a popular downtown Lakeville meet-up spot that's great for families. In the last couple of years they've streamlined their menu (almost all deserts now) and brought in hand-scooped ice cream by "The Chocolate Shoppe", which is fantastic stuff. They also serve soft-serve in many forms, all of which are tasty. I've sampled a number of their malts and shakes -- they're a delicious nostalgic time-warp to bygone days. Be prepared for some waiting -- the line leading to the single ordering window can stretch to the curb on hot summer nights. Then it can be another 5 - 10 minutes of waiting for them to fulfil the order, which you pick up at the opposite window. Mercifully, there are a number of picnic tables to sit at and there is a playset with swings and a slide that the littles just love. So, if you're not in a hurry and are looking for a delicious home-grown treat, you could do a lot worse than Dairy Delite.

Great place. They have a small playground for the kiddos as well as seating for anyone going there. Could you a little cleaning up, but it's got a great neighborhood feel with the state it is currently in. Still though. A little love never hurt. One other thing that was good is that they have some food (from the grill) offerings as well. It's a one stop shop for a hot afternoon. Good stuff. Soft serve was on point. Moose tracks ice cream was legit. Highly recommend it.

Finally tried this famous little spot in town and enjoyed the hot fudge cake. There was a little too much fudge for me (thought I’d never say that!) but it was still good and the staff made it work when I asked if I could have a different ice cream instead of vanilla. I am a realtor right across the street and heard nothing but good things about it. Thank you and we hope you stop by our Property Geeks office if you’re ever in need of real estate services! :)

Went for the first time last night, ordered a blue raspberry slushy, a blue raspberry freeze, dipped cone, and a snow storm. I watched the young girl make my slushy added some pumps of syrup then ice the syrup then ice, when she proceeded to push the ice down on the top of the cup with her bare hand🄓 decided that didn’t work she decided to use a spoon to stir it. After handing it to me I scraped the top half of it off and then tasted it. It tasted like cotton candy to all of us, so I went up and asked they said no it’s blue raspberry. So don’t order this if you don’t like cotton candy flavor. So we threw them away and Both my self and the other person decided to get something different which was your normal soft serve cone. Spent 30$ total, Won’t go back but they do have a cute little...

Me and my four friends were just at this establishment and I was served the wrong cone when I told the workers that my order was incorrect, I was met with a lot of hostility and rude glares and was treated as if it was my own fault that my order was messed up. My friend ordered chocolate shake, and it was not mixed at all. My other friend unknowingly found a peanut in her cookie dough snowstrom- which could be deadly to someone with a peanut allergy(and was also not mixed correctly). It was close to closing which we were unaware of but they still chose to serve us. I am very disappointed with this...
