The Bonus Room — Local services in Lakeville

My child contracted hand foot and mouth disease and we made the decision to cancel her party. Unfortunately the Bonus Room did not decide to give us the opportunity to rebook the party time with our current hourly payment. (Only if someone else also paid to book the spot we were cancelling/trying to rebook, which WHO would in a days notice?) We knew this was a possibility as stated in their cancellation policy but I’m still disappointed by this as we blew a bunch of money to celebrate our child’s first birthday with her friends. They instead offered us a $50 credit to use to book another time, so they just want more of our money? Yes, we got our $250 deposit back which is nice and all but I would have really looked forward to being able to celebrate my child’s birthday at a future point in time with what we paid for (not drop more money on top of what we already lost). However, it is a good thing we canceled, no doubt the owner would not have appreciated people being able to trace hand foot and mouth to their business. I kept their place safe from a virus and they kept my hourly fee of $250 (after tax). So I do not recommend the Bonus Room for a child’s birthday because you never know when you might have to cancel due to illness. Their “special circumstances” policy...

We hosted a celebration of life for my mother-in-law here and it was absolutely perfect! This space would be amazing for any kind of event from a larger family dinner, holiday party, baby or bridal shower, etc. We were able to bring in our own decorations to add to the space and make it our own.

The furnishings were clean and well kept and all of the decorations already in place are modern and beautiful! The space was in clean condition when we arrived and all of the necessary items to clean before we left were provided and easy to find.

It was also very easy to book and instructions for how to enter the space and rules were very clear and easy to understand. The one thing I will say is that the capacity of nearly 50 would leave the space a bit crowded and includes seating that is in the kitchen a bit separate from the rest of the space so just keep that in mind.

I love this new trend in rental spaces and The Bonus Room has set the bar high. If you are on the fence about booking - I say GO FOR IT - you will not be disappointed and we wouldn't hesitate to...

We held my son's high school graduation open house at The Bonus Room. It turned out fantastic. The space is absolutely beautiful! We had plenty of space with no need to worry about any type of weather. All the amenities you would need are there for your use. The full kitchen was great for the food we brought in and the use of the two TV's and apple TV were just what we needed for the graduation video we had put together. The owners made it so easy and convenient and had plenty of communication along with way. The only issues we had were there was no toilet paper in the bathrooms that we needed to make a run to get before guest started arriving and the WIFI did not come up in the list of available networks.
